Mavric
He’s still a fullback — “hitting and blocking” remain his top priorities, Janovich said — but he’s not sure if his role will increase in the new offense. His handful of highlights in preseason camp seem to suggest that the Gretna product could have more of an impact, maybe as an H-back. Janovich already has the endorsement of Nebraska defenders. ... He’s already set to play on every special teams unit, aside from the extra point group. And if he receives more snaps offensively, so be it. Janovich has three career catches. He has three carries. He’s fine with that. His favorite individual highlight as a Husker is a block he had on an unsuspecting Iowa linebacker in 2012. That’s his desired reputation, anyway. To be one who seeks out contact and leaves an impression. “Always looking for more,” Janovich said. “I don’t want to go out there and just get a block. I want to make the other guy not want me to come back, you know?” OWH 1 Quote Link to comment
getoutoftown
Really would like to see the fullback trap play once in awhile. 1 Quote Link to comment
ColoradoHusk
Really would like to see the fullback trap play once in awhile. Are you the 93-year old woman who calls the coach's show after the game and asks when the fullback is going to get some carries? 2 Quote Link to comment
JJ Husker
A fullback.....who likes contact.....who woulda thunk it? Quote Link to comment
BIGREDIOWAN
I used to hate meeting the fullback at the line of scrimmage. All I could think of was, "uh oh! This is gonna hurt!" Love hearing this though! Quote Link to comment
JJ Husker
I used to hate meeting the fullback at the line of scrimmage. All I could think of was, "uh oh! This is gonna hurt!" Love hearing this though! I played fullback and linebacker in HS. I wasn't very good but those two positions did need to seek out contact. I'm the same age as Tom Rathman. Pretty sure I've still got his cleat marks on my body. I did not like meeting him at the line. Quote Link to comment

Wordek
Where is his highlight from 2012 vs iowa? Quote Link to comment
darkhorse85
I know a guy that talks to Banderas quite often and he said Josh told him that he's not a fan of being hit by Andy. At practice last week Josh asked to take a couple plays off after Andy through a block at him. edit: I suppose you could find that out from just reading the article too. Quote Link to comment
