Frost not getting the job sooner gave him great experience and molded him into the coach he is now. He learned the Oregon offense and can talk about coaching Marriotta etc, he got head coaching experience and can sell that he has turned things around once so he has instance credibility hence the buy in from the whole team already. Plus all these bad coaching hires have led us to be ready for him. Imagine if we kept solich- we would not have enough of the right pieces to make this offense work in year 1. Frost would have to flip the entire roster like Callahan did. Quote Link to comment
