I think Ball is an amazing back, but as far as consistency, I honestly think that Rex is second to nobody. Not Ball, not Lamichael James, and not Trent Richardson. I'm not gonna lie, I would take any of these guys in a heartbeat, but if given a choice.... I'd probably take Rex.

Someone on ESPN also mentioned a 6-team playoff, which I would be in favor of. You just give the 1 and 2 seed a bye in the first round. Basically, I would go for a 4, 6, or 8 team tourney, but any more than that would be awful.

I'm assuming/hoping the white seating will be a pit area for the students to go crazy? If this thing can hold 16-18K they better darn well make sure that student section is packed, even if they have to sell the tickets for $1. The student section is expressly designed for STANDING........................so your wishes should be fulfilled................. That sounds amazing!

I saw earlier you said that your hybrid LB/S guy is graduating so hopefully he sees that as a need. Well on our side, I hope he sees the same. Thorell just did not get it done for us at the Peso position, and he is leaving after this year. I would think he would likely play true safety for us, but if he wants to play that hybrid position, all he's got to do is look at what Dejon Gomes did for us a year ago and see that he can make the same impact. Needless to say, I would love to see him come to Lincoln.

You can follow potential recruits, but you cannot contact them in any way, shape or form. Read this informative Q&A from OU's website as an example: What if you are not a booster, just a fan? Same rules apply. I don't see how they can enforce it. Seems awfully silly to me. People reach out to recruits all the time and say, "Hey, come to my school." It's called being a fan. How is it any different than if he is on his recruiting visit during one of our games and you walk by him and holler, "Hey man, I've heard about you. Come to Nebraska!"? Not raggin' on you or anything, I'm just saying it's a dumb rule that they could never enforce.

Actually whoever this guy was is not wrong. I wasn't supposed to say anything, but I am one of Tom's dearest friends, and he has expressed his hatred for the B1G since about midway through the season. He actually has been working behind the scenes to join the Big East beginning in 2013. (NOTE: none of this is actually fact. I don't know TO)

I really strongly think that OSU needs to be in the national championship game because Bama had their chance already and lost. However, if Bama does get in and wins it, then there had better be a share of the national title. It would only be fair because it is extremely hard for a team to beat another twice in one season.
