I go to school in the Chicagoland area, but seeing as I'm a poor college student (who doesn't go to Northwestern) I won't be making it to the game. Hoping to get out to the Kirkwood Bar (a local Husker fan sports bar) for the game though.

Their names are Jack and Isaiah. They're two little Nebraska boys who have a rare form of cancer. Rex Burkhead got in touch with little Jack last year and the two became instant friends. Since then, an organization raising money for pediatric cancer research called Team Jack has been started and pushed by Nebraska. It's become a huge thing in Nebraska, with tons of shirts selling and lots of money going to the organization.

Probably just an Oklahoma shell they traded for, just like that Texas Tech one they had last year....Of course, that TT helmet ended up turning into the real thing, so who knows

This story gives a little perspective to some of us diehard fans. There truly are things bigger then football, but sometimes football can help heal some of those things, even if its just for a day. God's blessings on both Jack and Isaiah and a huge salute to Rex, Quincy, and all of the other Huskers involved. This is truly what makes Nebraska so great

Exactly. If anything we have more to gripe about. There were a few sh**ty spots that benefited them and that spot screwup with 1:26 left saved them time which could have been a big issue in the game. And I don't care what anyone says, Enunwa caught that ball. They could have at least reviewed it for Christ's sake. The only thing I saw that was missed was a small hold on Abdullah's long kickoff return and I'm not sure if I would have called it either. First, I don't think it's that big of an issue among Wisconsin fans or at least on the boards. It was mentioned in a list of several takeways of the game that was predominately about Wisconsin and what they did, and did not do. And like I have said earlier in one of the two posts I made in the in-game thread, I don't think any of the calls or no-calls had a big impact on the game. As far as the calls that people could take issue with, there were several holding penalties that were not made, and yeah sure you can say everyone holds it can't be called every time, but some were pretty blatant. If you rewatch the Taylor Martinez rushing TD, just watch your right tackle. i would rather just watch t-mart rushing for a touchdown. yeah that's cool too. I'm not being confrontational. Someone asked what people could complain about when it came to calls... Yeah, I was watching with my roommate, who's from Milwaukee and is a big Badger fan, and we both saw that hold as well as a pretty blatant one on the long kickoff return (though I'm not sure either held player had a shot at making a play anyway). After the game, we both agreed that there were bad calls on both sides of the ball and that overall they didn't decide the game.

It'll be interesting to see what they look like on the field. Will we even be able to notice?

I played a night game with them and, I've gotta say, even in the video game world they look way better under the lights. When they were first announced, I was very eh. But I'll be honest, I've come around and I'm a big fan of them now.

The new jerseys also just got put up as DLC on NCAA 13. It's $2 to download and also comes with Wisconsin's and Notre Dame's lopsided helmet uni. Seems kinda ridiculous that you have to pay for jerseys, but they look awesome, especially when you're playing with them under the lights.
