  1. The whole meal thing is a joke. A coach should be able to pay for food or a meal.
  2. "I spent some time watching film with Coach Langsdorf during my visit and all that concepts were the same. Obviously different terminology, however the play calls and protections were more organized and simple. Which is great for being successful in a college football offense." I found this interesting. Yet the current QB has had ups and downs... Maybe a 2nd year in the system and being a 4th year a starter will help? Can only hope the success will come before it's too late. I think the problem is with TA. He seems to have all the knowledge & physical gifts to be a really good QB, but its like he cannot get the game to slow down in his head. I also think trying to get some of the old habits from the last coaching staff out of his head will take time. Beck was all about attacking the defense. Langsdorf is about being patient & finding the open guy.
  3. What does your other sock say? It can't talk it is crusted shut.
  4. These are the only two coaches I thought did much last year. Glad to hear they got locked up for a couple years.
  5. Did they forget about Johnny Stanton he was a Elite 11 - 4 Star QB.
  6. Kinda Scary stats. "In those two seasons, he threw 23 touchdowns vs. 21 interceptions. While it counts sack totals, Lee ran for minus-287 yards during his time with the Green Wave." http://collegefootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2016/01/31/nebraska-picks-up-tulane-transfer-qb-tanner-lee/
  7. Why? Even if Lee beat out O'Brian & was granted a 6th year. O'Brian would still have two years as a starter.
  8. That is the absolute truth. That year could have been special. Even if Lee were healthy, I give us two more wins (ISU, Texas) You can't put it all on Lee. The WR's in 2009 had major problems with the drops.
  9. Its the offseason. Not a whole lot to talk about besides recruiting. If you don't want to read it, feel free to use the back button.
  10. It looks like he was hired as a Quality Control Asst, not as a Grad Asst so he will get a paycheck. If this is true it is a pretty crappy hire.
  11. Im confused. Did he get hired as a GA or as a Quality Control Assistant? I'm good with him being a GA, but not as a QCA. A QCA is what Scott Frost just hired Barrett Rudd to be a UCF & it is a PAID postion.
  12. Is the Head Golf Coach? Sorry had to do it. I always liked Fisher. He was a good WR coach.
  13. You might be overestimating how far 1.5B will go. Our new Recruiting Coordinator
  14. Why? 36-62 in Boulder wasn't enough for you? I think he has grown as a coach in the last 15 years.
  15. Well since you wanted to bring up cross fit. Here is how they feel about why "full" stanches are important http://www.tabatatimes.com/why-we-snatch/ The cult weighs in. Excellent. Anyway, here's the perspective of someone who trains pro atheletic: https://footballbeyondthestats.wordpress.com/2014/04/05/just-say-no-to-olympic-lifts-at-least-for-nfl-players/ Why didn't we just hire you over Mark Philipp and Boyd Epley.....What was the athletic department thinking?? You could have been HC, OC, DC, Strength Coach as well as recruiting coordinator
  16. I just wish we could stack another highly recruited QB right behind him next year or the year after. You know make this at least a bi-annual thing.
  17. I would love to see it but I don't see OSU leaving without Okie Lite & the same goes with KU to KSU.
  18. Agreed. One day I could see the SEC going to 20 by adding FSU, Miami, GT, Clemson, Okie Lite & OU. Pushing the Big Ten to finish off the ACC by taking UNC, Louisville, Duke, Pitt, VT & forcing Notre Dumb in. Then the Pac12 will sweep in & take what they want from the Big 12.
  19. I would only want to go back if Texas stays, Bevo then needs to give Herbie a reach around & they also get no vote in the conference. Then & only then should we return.
  20. Is it bad that I hope this happens. I would really like to see a OC who wants to run more of a Stanford style offense. Sorry, but I put a lot of this year on Langsdorf. We were told all offseason that they would try to marry the skillsets & playbook of the last staffs to what they want to move to. If they think they did that last year, then we are in a lot more trouble this coming season. I had a horrible dream last night that he did leave and we brought in Lane Kiffen as the OC and head coach in waiting for 2017. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0TvJy2Ot48M This should make you feel better
  21. I agree. I hate it.It should be the 2016 Champion. I wish they would just move the season up a couple weeks & have the Championship game on the last satuday night of the year. I also hate the Monday night games. I get up for work at 4:30am. Staying up till 11:30 is getting tougher as I get older.
  22. I'm sure a team that won zero games last year will go to Ann Arbor and win I bolded two very important words in my post. The only question is by how many does Michigan win by 40 or 50 I'm going to get risky and say they only win by 27.
