  1. He's not the fastest back they've had but he went for 207 - including an 85 yards TD run - last week against Virginia. So he's fast enough. Plus vision and the ability to keep drives going is probably more important than pure speed.
  2. TA breaks the record for career passing yards.
  3. Mom came along and was also impressed. We're at the top of his list as of now. Looking to visit Arizona and Virginia Tech.
  4. I think just one so I would guess a backup plan. Unless we just take Rahyme no matter what but we don't have a lot of numbers to play with at this point.
  5. - HUGE props to Langsdorf on the game plan. We passed more in the first half but almost every pass was designed to get TA a VERY easy throw - to a stationary or slow-moving target. I was actually surprised that we still only completed 50% for the game. And we kept pounding the running game (for the most part). - Seemed like MRI's best game as a Husker. I would have guessed he was in on more plays than the 6 tackles he got credit for. - Great game for Lightbourn to have a great game. - Was a lot of fun to be on the good side of a lot of breaks for once. - Oregon without Freeman is an 8-4 team at best this year. Might still be that with him. - Oregon is bad at math
  6. Newby has had a better ypc in two out of three games this year. In the game he didn't, Ozigbo definitely got the better blocking. I think both are good and both have roles. Neither is significantly better than the other. They're just better at different things.
  7. That might be that 230 lb back slamming into you for 3 quarters and you get tired of fighting against it and start arm tackling. That has something to do with it but a lot of it is those 300 pounders on the Pipeline knocking you over rather than setting up on their heels.
  8. It's almost like you CAN keep running the ball, even if it doesn't work right away.
  9. I'm not sure where either of you got your numbers but someone is way off. I tend to believe Sam's numbers because I think they go for two more often than your numbers show. Which means they are really bad at math.
  10. I kind of assumed this but hadn't seen it reported until now: Auburn is recruiting him as a defensive back. We're recruiting his as a RB and I get the felling he'd rather play RB. That with how impressed he seemed to be with this visit could make this very interesting.
  11. 3-3 on the year. -$30 Can I bet my house on Stanford - which opened a one-point dog to UCLA?
  12. DT Commit Deiontae Watts from Plano Texas
