Not to add more salt to the wound but the recievers that made those catches werent even their best ones. Thought they were missing two of the top ones to knee injuries and lost another today with a concussion. Could be wrong but if not, how much worse would it have been if they hadnt been missing even better wrs? No doubt we needed prince etc...but more pressure up front consistantly killed us. Guess we will see if our young guys will make the difference some of us think they will, this off season will be huge time to go to work! GBR

No offense to our line by no means, hell today at times they looked pretty good and physical, but wow Stanfords line looked freaken awesome and Peat looked really really good along with the other frosh linemen, sorry forgot his name. I know its not new news that the Cardinal have great line play reminds me of the old days and hoping to our line getting back to that kinda dominating second half play, and maybe we will again. Glad to hear what Bo had to say. It is too bad it has taken this long to seem human instead of (add your name here) like he has at times. I think it has for me at least made the guy more real and understood. His actions towards media, during interviews etc.. may have painted the wrong picture for me so I do hope this is a sign of maybe things to come. I hope all he said translates to less melt downs by the team on the field and we all can relax towards our beloved Huskers........Nah I will always get frustrated when we lose lol Nice article and I truely do hope we get over that hump and Bo is with us for along time fiery or not our Huskers deserve it!!

I am wondering where is Carnes in all this? seems like history has shown us TM is Bo's guy regardless so I dont see how Armstrong is going to do anything but RS sit and learn. Carnes didnt even get a look hardly during the season so how is Armstong going to step in? If it really is an open competition we will see in the fall hope the best man wins!!! I like some of the Black Helmets and the pictures of the uni's towards the middle fairly close to what we have now. The jerseys at the end are horrible, the Corn helmets were interesting to a point but like most of you I would have to say he!! no lol I would like to see some changes not too much but some I know a lot of people don't think any change should ever happen. I would be ok with no change but it is time for something not sure Adidas is where its at sorry believe me I own plenty of it. Interesting pics thats for sure.

Doesn't matter how you compare it. It's still not a bad class. You can't simply focus on the stars we signed. The crucial thing is, did we fill needs? O Line was not a need in this class. LB was a need. QB was a need. CB was a need (and we're short there, although CJ making it to campus will help). We never signed the top class in the Big 8, either. Seemed to do OK there. We signed a top class once, near as I can remember. Failed miserably with it, too. I agree we havent really had great recruiting classes(star wise) like the Bama's etc.. of the world, however even back in the day we could take those and walkons and mold them into good players. With this class being good enough for a top 25 or so its now as it has been up to Bo's hand picked coaches to mold these guys into players that will make a difference. I wont hold my breath this will happen but hope that they do. We have to stop the late season meltdowns and become relevent again enough to maybe land a few of these big time players or continue waiting for sons of former players etc...to bloom into top 200 players!!!! On to the countdown to 2012 good class now its waiting time GOBIGRED

By far is my favorite player out of this class, just the way he plays, the way he represented himself and our University was top notch. Too bad he couldnt have got a few other guys to come our way what a slacker lol Welcome to Lincoln Michael!!!!!!!

I think he did make some strides after all he didnt have much more things go wrong or screwed up( I hate saying he screwed up he is better than I ever could but you get my point well hopefully) any way he had to get better and overall I think he did. My idea for him would be a great change of direction guy, if we had a Luck for example and you wanted a change up then send in tmart and he would be an asset. I like his attitude NC wow whatever but ya a CC or BCS game sure!

With the issues everybody has given, and I can agree with almost all of them, it seems to me that even if Bo even remotely thought he wasnt doing a good job himself wouldnt he want to hire some other coaches who can help him and take off some of the pressure? If I was an up and comming coach who has an idea of what i want to do I would make sure I have the best around me, hell who wouldnt. I wouldnt want to get fired by taking chances all the time and hope something will work, maybe his ego wont let him IDK. I will say this tho the recruiting stuff is getting crazy we have some talent for sure but only getting small classes with holes needing filled and we cant get the best of the best to come here I would make damn sure that those players or coaches that arent holding their end would be gone and I would find those who can! Talent hurt us today and we know this, yes I am a fan of Green, Moore, Carnes, Turner, Heard, Abdulla etc.. but they arent all helping at this point yet so if we are going to get better next year wouldnt have we seen more of these guys this year? I dont have the asnwers like the rest of ya but damn this is getting crazy Coaching and talent wins average of any of them dont how do we change that? lol I guess I will go back to playing NCAA 12 on xbox and figure it out and let you all know.lol GOBIGRED and wait for next year AGAIN

I was told that" we will be celebrating Christmas in January" Not sure who and couldnt elaborate so take it as you want. Rose is my favorite player of the group I hope the staff uses him better than we did this year with some of the freshman. GOBIGRED

I agree that we are not dead in the water, maybe we can get one or two of our A list players and we all can step away from the edge lol However I do disagree with you on how important recruiting classes are, this isnt the 80-90's anymore. With other teams in our conference doing well having a sub par glass will eventually catch up with us in the future, how far is up to discussion. Yes we have talent in the locker room, young good talent but you must continue bringing in talent whether large class or small and seing that it doesnt sound like a big class is coming next year either we must keep pace the best we can or the other schools will continue making the gap bigger and we cant afford that IMHO Lets just hope our guys like Rose and others can continue in the ears of these guys and maybe a good game against uSC so we can finish strong if not who knows lol GOBIGRED

I too am getting nervous especially after reading a few things regarding potential DC plans and possible going after the line coach of Iowa. I didnt think bo was going to hire Zook but did think Stoops might be an option. The thing that has me most concerned is with tosu getting 3 5 stars in a week, that with the fact Meechigan is on the prowel we must finish off recruiting on a high note and I am not sold YET that that will happen. I really think Notre Dame is going to get our WR(ouch) so my hopes that Bo can handle all this is waining I still have some hope he and the staff can I just hope its not too late and things turn out!!!! Hope I am wrong if not oh well nothing I can do but continue wearing my Red like the rest of you!!!! GOBIGRED
