He had the chance to get a new OC and promoted Beck. He had the chance to get a new Def Cord, and chose to promote from within. He had an opening at DL and go a subpar IOWA dline coach. He has had 6 years to fire Barney and he hasn't. 3. No. Bo is having issues running his Defense, cant imagine him trying to run an offense. 4. Depends. If you get a spread guy, no. If we hired a pro-style OC, yes. 5. With time, its possible. Sadly he has chosen the "us against the world" mentality years ago. 7. Brown, Garrison and Joseph are the only ones that can coach at Nebraska level.

I don't think any players would leave. Players said they loved Callahan just as much as they say they love Bo, and I cant think of one player leaving that had any impact. If my son was grown now and had a scholarship to Nebraska, I wouldn't push him to Nebraska. I don't believe in Pelini and his lack of player development is obvious in our lack of NFL draft prospects the last few years (ie Pelini recruits). And stop comparing TO to Pelini, they aren't even close to the same and its insulting you put a legend like TO and a bum like Pelini in the same sentence.

When one players has a bad day, its the players issue. When the entire offense was playing like sh#t (not Ameer), its on the coaches. Lastly, Bo hasn't saved us from anything. We are consistently out of the top 25 in both ranking and recruiting, we get blown out when playing anyone worth mentioning, we haven't won a championship in 6 years, failed to make it to any BCS games - he has cruised the ship into mediocrity. Other than winning our Division once in the last 3 years, we are no better than Tennessee.

As a fan or writer, its not our job to come up with a solution. Two well paid people at NU (Perlman and Shawn) have to figure out how to fix this and what is best for Nebraska in the long run. Even if he gave a suggestion to fix it, what credentials does he have to back up such a statement?

If one guy fumbles, its on him. BUT when an entire team fumbles, that is entirely on the coaches.

Beck called a horrible game. He lacked the ability to play to his current players strength, his play selection and passing on every 2nd down was disturbing, his decision to sub a true Freshman for the best back in the B1G was just dumb and he consistently put Armstrong in a position to fail. This is why you don't learn how to be a OC at a school like NU. He may be a good OC down the road but right now he is making rookie mistakes that are costing the team chances to be successful.

Bo won 2 division titles in his first three years with poor recruiting. Hoke hasn't sniffed a division title, even with Top-10 recruiting classes. Backing into a BCS game against a poor VaTech only goes so far. True. But as you pointed out Hoke also has that going for him, 2 consecutive top 10 recruiting classes.

Kenny hasn't been the old Kenny the last few weeks, but to tweet him is just absurd and disturbing - the guy must have mental issues. My main concern is what is wrong with Kenny. Is he hurt still?
