    Seeing how we typically don't bring in the extremely flashy, highly reviewed type (based on star ratings and such), is it safe to say that the star system of recruiting is irrelevant to what kind of team we actually have, and will have in the future? I used to get so caught up in the competition side of it, constantly being disappointed by what average star rating of recruits we were bringing in. Not so much anymore. Does it make a huge impact for Nebraska and our success during the season?

    This is the passion of Bo in Nebraska that I forgot about. This read reminded me of his passion for the Big Red, and his dedication to win us a championship. It's only his fifth year as a head coach, and just like TM, he is maturing into his job. I'm more and more excited every year to see what he can accomplish with our team! GBR

    Depends on when that happens. I am pretty much convinced TM is a starter for 2 more years. But if something occurs this year, probably Carnes, although I would love to see Armstrong taking snaps anytime soon. I just wana see this kid give us fans something to really look forward to, and I think he can.

    Completely agree. I love what I see on these kid's highlight films. Especially Armstrong. His throwing motion is so smooth just at the high school mark, plus his legs are quick! He plus all the other great recruits for this year's class will only become bigger and better, and hopefully make the giant impact that all us Husker fans are hoping for.

    I just read Steve Sipple's article about the decline in the "N" brand over the last decade, and I must say, i feel just a little bit depressed cuz I love the Big Red so much.....

    As long as the yelling and screaming doesn't show a sign of weakness during a rough part of a game (which I believe it does), and the players don't respond in a negative way by seeing their leader completely melt down (which I have been led to they do respond negatively), then I'm completely fine with it.

    Anyone think that our recruiting class (if we get everyone we need) will fill just about all the holes to fill for a successful couple years?

      Agreed, but yeah I noticed some big guys for the D line, I wonder how much impact they will have in the near future..

    I really hope we can get most of those DB's, especially Shelton, he is a stud. Valentine would be pretty huge too (he is huge).

    I'm really excited about this guy. He has been committed so long, he has even helped in the recruiting process with some other kids. He has love our team for a long time, and true passion is the key to playing for such a great program, where the fans expect no less. GO BIG RED!!!

    During the NFL Playoffs last night between the Broncos and my hometown hero Danny Woodhead and company, The announcers made a Nebraska Football reference.... not amazing but it definitely caught my attention!!! ha
