  1. The little things are a 2nd and 1 turning into 3rd and 4 that HAVE to stop or is this team will continue to be mediocre at best
  2. Pretty hard to beat a top 5 team when you’re constantly beating yourself
  3. Where the f#&% is the discipline. f#&% this o line, what a disgrace p
  4. f#&% Christ sake. This team is still the dumbest f#&%ing team in America, unbelievable
  5. Maddening bro, why does it seem like we are ALWAYS behind the receiver and never there to tip a god damn pass for a change
  6. all true tho i would say sitkowski isnt the one who beat us, our inept AF offense beat us. you take away the missed XPs, the boneheaded return by CTB and the egregious fumble before half leading to 7 by martinez... thats holding to below 20 which should be enough to win any week.... not to mention our offesnse hanging our defense out to dry with ZERO drives of consequence for a large part of that game I'm not as worried about rattler, im worried about our offense coming in with a limp d!(k followed by our punter lacking any form of consistency
  7. lol, you're calling a 69-3 score until late? jesus christ we suck
  8. lol- it wont be the last one of the season. Minnesota looks a lot more winnable now with ibrahim injured, purdue needs to be a win and we're due to beat northwestern. Mich st lookin a bit tougher than before and all the others including michigan we're dawgs... long way to go for sure but theres no way buffalo is the last win lolol, if it is frost gone
  9. Lol u guys are being awfully harsh. If they simply win at OU they will be top 25. Sitting 3-1 with a win over the 2nd/3rd ranked team at their house? 100% top 25 seeing how Miami is still sitting in the top 25 after getting blown out by Bama along with a few other one loss teams with zero notable wins this early on
  10. Probably need to let it digest a bit but to be brutally honest, this move doesnt move the needle for me at all and is just going to lead to a slower/inevitable painful death for that poorly ran conference. For football- who is their flagship program? Perhaps cincinnati bucks the trend and they turn into a consistent force but history would say this team will fizzle out as soon as some of the recruits they hit on graduate. I guess BYU is a national brand- but i dont necessarily associate them with sports excellence UCF nice grab for florida recruiting purposes but they will always be a far lesser option for those instate kids compared to going with Florida, miami, Fsu Maybe big12 being a power conf helps elevate some of these additions to be consistent winners but we thought the same might happen to TCU/WVU when they joined the big12 and that really hasnt panned out Ok move given the limited options but oustide of kansas basketball there really isnt a single reason for the big12 to have my sports attention
  11. Wanna hear something even scarier? How about another year of 2AM given he’s a junior and there is absolutely no way this clown gets drafted.. he’s gonna haunt our nightmares for ever
  12. That 08 team was vastly superior in the talent department…
  13. totally, id rather go after the hungry guy. perhaps i misread the poster i was responding to but i read at as go get a guy already established at a p5 school with a good track record already. i just dont see anyone who fits that bill that would come here.
  14. Perhaps full of hype... But the same as he's always been is a direct indictment on the ineptitude of mario V's developmental skills. Its mind boggling to me given Frosty has more experience in the QB coach department yet he thinks its wise to eat up a coaching spot for Mario Vs b!^@h a$$ instead of hiring say a dedicated ST coach to own recruiting and coaching when ST has been an absolute embarassment for us. If I'm frosty, how am I not just HC/QB coach and let Lubick own OC and then hire a ST coach? If I'm Trev and I'm giving frosty another year to figure this out this is a tough conversation I'm havibng. I understand its tough to fire/dismiss close friends but unfortunately said friends are going to be the anchor that brings you down. And hey, u dont know if u cant turn your aunt into your uncle!! feel like this is something that happens down in alabama all the time and they seem to do just fine!
  15. A long term proven HC from a proven program? Feel free to name some names because im blanking on who would fit the bill here and realistically come here if they were already at a solid program
  16. Perhaps you're right on recruiting the wrong QB... but they also dont have a qb room behind him and they haven't developed a single QB. In fact, a few others have gone elsewhere and seem to have done better N Vedral and I'd even take Gebbia back right now. I have no idea if they are or are not telling him to not throw off his back foot. All i can base it off of us game tape and hes constantly doing this, in year 4. And I don't necessarily buy the recruit the wrong qb thing- he looked just fine as a freshman and has regressed since. If he was perceived as the right qb then, but 3 years later is not, wouldn't some of this be driven by s#!tty coaching? You can also take a deep breath- feel free to google mario v's track record as a qb coach- its a joke. Plenty of good stuff there
  17. Given illinois is projected to be towards the bottom of the Big10, I honestly dont see how this team reaches 6 and 6 without a drastic turnaround. If they do, there's no way we get rid of frosty. At this point, a 6-6 would require wins against a couple of: Michigan/Iowa/Wisconsin... wins there would go a long way to give him 1 more year to figure this s#!t out
  18. Yeah his play his abysmal... Honestly tho, i put 80% of this on Mario V and Scott F. The guy has straight regressed since he came here and so many of his throws are on his back foot.. You know what happens when you throw off the back foot? You tend to put more loft on the ball and more oftentimes than not the ball drifts with not as much zip as there should be. You know what I constantly see from 2AM? Lofted overthrows that tend to take a split second too long to get to its intended target. Scott Frost as a CEO receives an F in my book- he's surrounded himself with people that in the end will doom him to failure.. there's that famous quote of you never want to be the smartest one in the room, surround yourself with those who will challenge you and make you better- Frosty seems to do the exact opposite of this in regards to his offensive staff and it shows on the field
  19. can we drop this "tough years for dabo" story? dude had one season at 6-7 and otherwise won double digits and a 9-5 season. Literally nothing like this s#!t show
  20. I pointed out in a few threads that we've consistently been the worse in the NCAA at 2nd half scoring. Not only can this staff not make adjustments on the fly to start the game, they cant even make adjustments in the 2nd half/prep for what the other team might change
  21. I mean this staff has sprinkled in a fair amount of names that seemed to switch every week Its concerning to me that in frost's time here he has not once been to able to identify a #1 running.. sure a running back room is great and all, but not when there isnt a clear cut back... even 2018, it felt like he struggled with this until Oz basically forced the agenda and was clearly theguy we needed to feed the rock to
  22. I'm starting to think he doesn't want to share his depth chart because he doesn't have a depth chart would help explain why we have a corner back who doesnt necessarily have blazing speed as a punt returned would help explain why we hear about certain running backs who never actually see game time would help explain why we see a constant merry go round of running backs would help explain why the receivers dont seem to have clearly defined roles would help explain why we're a complete embarrassment
  23. 2 reasons in my opinion and for it to qualify this needs to be a comfortable beatdown to the tune of 28-35+ points 1. While I am as (insert negative adjective here) as any one at the ineptitude of frosty- I still support this program and want to see success/momentum to springboard into the week after. We have so much uncertainty with both RB and WR room, it be great to see a top guy emerge and continue to build week by week 2. This is attached to the comfortable beatdown comment- i want a chance to see smothers live... Perhaps he's going to be a bust and coaches dont want to trot him out there but I am sick and tired of giving 2AM chance after chance. Guy lacks any sign of passion to rally troops around unless hes down by 21 points and he's got a noodle arm coupled with a low passing IQ. I'm done with this clown. I want to see what's behind him and having a chance to put away an opportiunity early affords us an opportunity to trot smothers out there for a few series to see what might exist... who knows, perhaps he actually can string together completions and move the offense down the field unlike 2AM who seems to prefer to miss basic AF throws on the regular and sleep walk through quarters and halfs at a time
