      When I was a kid I had cousins that caught it, dogs too. I got out unscathed but got it in Kansas, felt like death.

      Ha. That sucks. Have not seen a single one hear even backing up to the woods. My dog came back from Wisconsin a couple months ago and we found about 10 deer dicks on him.
