Husker fans have voted Mark Richt as their choice for Nebraska's next head coach. The current Georgia head coach was born in Omaha, and he narrowly beat out Oregon offensive coordinator and former Husker quarterback Scott Frost. Richt received 24 percent of the votes (1,320 of 5,603), while Frost was at 20 percent (1,112).

Channel 7 wowt in Omaha reported the new hot rumor is possibly David Shaw….said flight into California today. Per Sean Callahan, the airport that plane landed would only be to visit Shaw….. I know that I am against the entire move, but if we could get SHAW, I would friggin do cartwheels. He has been my #1 choice, over the years whenever someone would ask me who my "dream" coach would be !!! PLEASE !

The thoughts for Tressel, in my mind are starting to subside. I would rather take a risk on Frost, with the probability that he'll be great, than see him move on to some other school and win championships. However, Frost was my absolute favorite Husker ever.
