If we take the same mindset into the game as we did last week the scoreboard will take care of itself! If you want to call it a trap game fine but if you execute on offense, don't commit penalties and don't turn the ball over I LOVE our chances to win! And I think by a whole lot more than 4.5!! GBR!!!

I don't know if this has been discussed previously and I appologize for wasting your time if so.... I realize that our Blackshirts play a 2 gap scheme and somewhat of a reactionary defense but does it drive anyone else crazy to watch our front four lineup a full yard off of the ball? It just seems like they get pushed off the ball easier on run plays and it's much more difficult to create havoc in the backfield on passing plays? Maybe it's just me......? Oh I almost forgot....GBR!!!

If we would tackled against So. Miss it would of been below 200 yards. I believe Bo and Co. Were also expecting everything to be thrown at them and almost overprepared the D which can cause some confusion. I think they have a much better idea what to expect this week with a weeks worth of film on UCLA. I expect them to tackle better and not be out of position as much and definately not be so confused. The more confused and mixed up the slower you react.

I thought the second TD was the most impressive. He audibled at the line of scrimmage and then threw a perfect ball on the post corner route. In stride and only where his guy could catch it. Perfect throw but more important he read the defense correctly!

I kind of thought this was a foregone conclusion the second he decided to go home and take a semester off! So much for the first true freshman to ever start on the O-Line.

6-2 195. If he is as good of an athlete as I thought..... maybe he would like to play corner at Nebraska. pretty good speed I dont know if he likes to hit people but seems pretty talented football player not to be on a roster somewhere.

They sure did! But those teams had pretty solid defenses as well! You dont win 50 some odd games in 4 years without a solid team on both sides of the ball! Wins included games against Georgia, VaTech, TCU, Oklahoma.....

We will find out pretty quick if MichSt is legit! Kellen Moore is gone but I have to believe Boise St will be ready...they always are at the start of the season! I think the last 2-3 years they have opened the season at neutral sites or on the road and beat the likes of Georgia in Atlanta, Va Tech in D.C. and another one that I think Im missing...with that said Im rooting for Mich St gives the big10 more conference juice at the end of the season!

I would also say that this year we know what each team is going to try and do on both sides of the ball...unlike last year when we had to prepare for all new teams! Its the second year with Coach Beck's system and I dont see a letdown against a Northwestern this year either. A deeper secondary and much more talented group on the perimeter of our offense. It will be very interesting game if we head to Columbus undefeated....

I remeber how mad I was when we didnt get him last year. Funny how your perspective changes when you know Stanton is on his way next year! Would much rather have a throwing QB that can run rather than a running QB that tries to throw!

I watched the same show last night and they picked us to finish 5th in the big 10 behind wisky, michigan, mich st, ohio st. I wish there was a show at the end of each season that went back and played these predictions and comments and to see how close they are to being right. Instead they just spit garbage out of their mouth and its considered gospel. No accountability at the end of the season just their opinions at the start of the season!
