Are you asking about Mark Pelini that missed the last two practices for being a little banged up? So far there are no serious injuries this spring. I am praying it stays that way. USC had three injuries during their first scrimmage and one of them was their star WR, but he is expected to be back just as Ameer is. There is another injury that will be announced that will be a bit bigger deal. Also I wouldn't jump so quickly to Ameer having a sprained ankle.

I hate the read and react defense. It doesn't matter if NU had never sen a formation or play before, if the DL is in the backfield good things will happen for the defense. There is no excuse for NU giving up 70 points. It should never happen. Bill Callahan and Bo Pelini do not agree with you

Martinez and his speed are game changers. I am really excited to see how Pelini gets this youth we have to play. They have the athletic ability now Bo has to get them in the right place. If he is the defensive genius he and many proclaim he should be able to accomplish this.

Well I mostly indended the knock to be on Pederson and on the BCS. But speaking of Perlman, he is the guy responsible for bringing in Pederson, so he owns a big piece of the Callahan debacle. Just having seen him in his press conferences, announcing Pederson, when Solich got axed, then when he had to turn around and fire Pederson, my completely subjective impression of him is that I think the guy is a tool. Not to mention how the cost of attending UNL has gone from expensive to ridiculous during his tenure. My opinion of him wasn't changed after talking to an acquaintance who does have the opportunity to have an informed opinion. Reed was the most under utilized piece of our offense last season. Obviously our WRs and RBs performed exceptionally and he kind of got left out of the fun. Reed definitely has the physical tools to excel in the NFL

we will not be getting a 5 star kid anytime soon if ever. I wouldn't say that. It may not happen in the next few years, but if the coaches can keep improving the players the way they have been these players will see an opportunity to be the "Man". Tai Webster is considered one of the top 30 players around in this class. Heck we had Robert Sallie signed and delivered and he was a 5 star way back when. Our admissions dept ruined that for us. I would bet Miles brings in a 5 star in the next 5 years no questions asked. We will also win our first tourney game in that time.

The Tim Miles effect IMHO. If Bo trends in this direction using social media etc to his advantage like Miles does it will immensely help recruiting. Les Miles did the same with Bo before Bo started at Nebraska. Bo was invisible on the recruiting trail at LSU Thats not what I heard. I heard he is the one who mainly landed all the next years commits, minus taking Evans with him, because Evans asked to go with. If Evans never asked to follow, he would have been a LSU Tiger. This is what I was told by an avid LSU fan. I wish that was true

This is Bo's fault, he allowed a GA that was hired somewhere else to hangout with his guys during bowl prep. You tell him to go start his new gig and he doesn't have the opportunity to do that. But Bo gave him the opportunity for this to happen.
