Either way, it's a weird exercise to compare exposing one's self and theft in broad daylight, this early in the morning. Football season can't get here soon enough

What time were the Moss occurrences? Was he drinking?

      How about either of Fonzie's?

  2. Just bet my cousin $50 that Randy Gregory will be a top-10 draft pick & He took the bet. What do you think, is that a good bet?

I hope you win, too. But, not a good bet. He's still in that potential first round area. I think a good season and if he can add more to his frame he's a for sure first rounder.

Too many variables. RG top10 not a good bet. But I hope you win.

So dependent on who else is highly valued, and what teams are picking in the top 10.

  3. randomly watching Bubba Starling highlights and crying about what could have been. I pray he pulls a Brandon Weeden.

or restores the royals to glory, I'd be ok with either one.

well since I'm not a baseball fan I wouldn't be ok with the latter that you suggested. The man belongs on a football field

I thik we have two new guys on the team that are just as good as Bubba.

  4. Anyone know what 2001 RB Dahrran Diedrick is up to these days? The man who's lasting legacy is likely that of "Eric Crouch's sidekick"

he did fumble on the goal line which sent the 2001 Colorado game into oblivion. Poor guy.

  5. does anyone else think we are the best hybrid of Oregon and Alabama? Spread-option run-first offense, and Jerry Kill described Bo's defensive philsophy as "Southeastern conference-style" with the match-zone. I want to win a NC against Alabama more than anyone else.

Our system is completely different than Oregon's system. Completely different running style. I'd say we are our own offense. We run the "spread" yes, but we also have odd elements mixed in - such as power run sets of the spread. Oregon uses motion, misdirection to get to the edge. We don't do that.

The coach of Southern Miss said after the game that our up-tempo power run game is one of the most innovative things he's ever seen. It's just not what being done right now. Up temp spread power run is very difficult to contend with.

completely forgot about that Southern Miss quote. As the season unfolded I gained a great appreciation for how unique our offense is because it's Tim Beck's brainchild, but I guess if I had to pick one offense we could draw the most similarities from is Oregon. But the true uniqueness was confirmed by reports of DC's pulling out all the stops and trying to throw curveballs at it moreso than other teams they played.

  6. my brother lives a couple houses down from Bo. Said there were two cop cars outside his house days after the CCG. Couldn't stomach it when Callahan/Cosgrove got threats now I can't with Bo. Those people who do that need to stop calling themselves Husker fans, it's just a F'ing game.

Could be preemptive as well. That was a horrible loss and very emotional for everyone. After the Cos incidents I would think LPD/UNL has security measures in place for most of the coaches.

Does not surprise me. People get too emotionally invested in college football. It's okay to have emotions, but know there are limitations.
