Jake Cotton is making all those defenders hurdle him, slowing them just enough to spring Armstrong for the TD. Based on polo's long-term negative posts trend, I assume he's trying to criticize Jake Cotton. But the image shows that TA has a running lane, and we know that play results in a TD. Maybe polo is trying to say Cotton is doing a good job. Not clear from just an image what the point is. We watch him every game and most of the time he does not finish blocks. One play does not make him the best option.

Don't forget Gaylord/Decker in 2015. Our last couple classes have the potential Potential & I believe will be good, but I only listed 4-5 star players.

Pitchford made 14 in a row during the 3 point contest.

I too have asked why we always through 25 to 30 yards passes on 3rd & 5. I also like Tommy, but sometimes he tries to do too much.

Thought I would post my observation of this event, even though there was very little defense being played. White can score from anywhere. Wish we had him this year. Pitchford is going to be a more consistent offensive treat. Webster & Benny have improved their outside shot. Rivers looked stronger. Smith is quick and confident. Abraham is a big dude who can rebound, but not much of an outside shooter. Hammond needs some muscle, but looks like he can contribute. Fuller did not play due to Smith breaking his nose in practice. This means Smith will be back, but I would like to have seen Fuller play. I can not wait to see them play!

Really, Iowa ranked. They struggled to beat Pitt, Purdue & Indiana, who all having losing records and lost to Maryland. Do I need to say more. Wisconsin is a good team, but one dimensional. The problem lies is the inconsistent play of our LBs. We will also need to throw to win.

Last week Tommy was not even looking. Center is a big issue as every center delivers the ball differently. Plus, you asking a player who touches every ball to sit the bench for a series or 2 and come back to be perfect. This without throwing in the temp. This has a lot to do with giving family the step up.

Wisconsin can not pass and cannot defend the pass. Our line is so bad even with AA we will not be able to run for a lot of yards. This game will come down to Tommy, our WR & LBs not getting lost on the field.

Its tough to build the pipeline without a few anchers each year. 2011 - Reeves & Moore (left) 2012 - Thurston 2013 - Knevel & Finnin (Juco) 2014 - Foster, Farmer & Gates 2015 - Mirko 2016 - Raridon & Brokop We moved Cotton out & Garrison in. I still think our weight program is an issue. But overall, I expect things to change starting next year as our 2014 class begins to work for playing time.

Against Rutgers it was the center, yesterday it was Tommy. But there was some high snaps, that Tommy did a good job grabbing. I agree that we should be starting a center and that should be Reeves, not family. Same with Cotton!

Offensively, we have several deficiencies: Line is a long way from the pipeline, after Bell we lack speed at WR (nice to see Pierson El get snaps), our TE's can not block (Cotton was getting knocked all over the field yesterday) and after Ameer there is nothing to fear (Cross is too slow & Newby needs strength). Beck fails to make adjustments when someone does gets hurt, thus McNeese St., Michigan St. & Purdue.

After yesterday, you can see the need for a good RB.

We have no conference champions yet. yes, but were will you find 3 SEC conference champions other than $$$$$$$ (oh I mean ESPN)

Any Affiliation with ESPN and the final 4 vote should be eliminated. It is a conflict of interest and it is called $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

This just proves that ESPN & SEC still leads the voting. Everything I heard said that conference champions mean the most. Oregon should have been the #4, not Ole Miss.

My seats are in the NE stadium and the student section was full by kickoff. It was a typical game that we were favored by over 2 TDs. If was far from the worst crowd I ever seen.

Made my calls and you are full of it! My buddy did say that there is one past player that makes snide remarks on the sideline to other people when he is there. His number was 15.

I think Bo has done a good job with the media and these kids. I will not stay this happened or not, but I will do my research. I have a couple of friends that contract with UNL and are on the sides during the game and close to the coaches.

Rutgers is average on defense and lost there RB, best offensive player. We can't overlook anyone.

There will not be 3 teams from the SEC in the tournament as they have to play each other and someone has to lose. Florida St will remain unbeaten until the first round of the tournament. Oregon has a weak schedule and will be a 1 loss team. Now throw in about 10 other teams that have a chance to be a 1 loss team. Also remember that the individuals who pick these teams have no criteria to use, except their opinion of who should be there.

Wrong. He was not good. Luckily we've been able to winv in spite of our shortcomings at QB.Really, 5 dropped passes & 2 thrown away. S/B 80% with no TO. Granted he still needs work on the short pass. Better get use it, he will be our starter for 2 more years. Yeah, there were a lot of dropped balls last night. Fortunately NW dropped quite a few balls too. In the second half anyway. Tommy had a better passing game last night than he had against Sparty. But he did miss a couple of short passes which would have gone for good yardage. That continues to be a frustration. There were lots of points left on the field last night. Some of those completions were great catches. True about the drops, but many of those balls weren't thrown particularly well. I don't recall seeing him hit a defender right in the hands, so i guess that's progress. Short passing games still needs work, but I thought that he was actually trying to get his feet set in the second half. Hope to see improvement week to week.

There is never a complete positive article from him. Read again, as he tries to push the buttons of the fans.

Tommy's footwork was better in the 2nd half. Sometimes he took too much time to get his feet set and paid the price.
