I would be all for that. Stanton, I believe would be the guy. More of a "pocket passer" than the others. I just can't believe that it's been 4 years now and we have not adapted to B1G style football, both offensively and defensively. Both are ideal for the big12. Go to a power football scheme on both sides and let's play. Bo has to get guys with a B1G background to help him, yes Bo, I said help you. I'm a "Bo-leiver" but it's getting tougher and tougher to support you and your boy's club hires. Let Eichorst fire your guys so you don't have to, and let's go get 2 coordinators that have B1G pedigree-type schemes and let's get this ship back on course, not sink it like the Edmund Fitzgerald. One question for you guys. Coach or CEO? A lot of you want a CEO instead of a micromanager. But a lot of you say our coordinators and position coaches suck and need to leave and/or get s**t canned. If they are so bad and suck, doesn't every CEO have to micromanage? Just thinking out loud.

IF Bo is let go, what about Steve Addazio from Boston College? Tough hard nosed guy who has made BC a tough out and knows the east coast in recruiting. Bronco Mendenhall would be my 1b choice. I don't see Bo going unless Iowa rips us by +3 touchdowns.

Oh trust me I love talking football and enjoy hearing what everyone thinks. Hell, I've even thrown out some coaching ideas, player personnel thoughts. But thinking of it, nothing better than putting my kid's #22 Red Rex Burkhead jersey on him, turning on the big screen and listen to him say "Hc'kers" and raising his hands up for touchdowns.

Nicely stated me boy. Well said. Last year living so close to Minneapolis, I had tickets for the Nebraska-Minnesota game. Had to buy a two game pack. I was not interested in going to Minny-Western llinois. Well night before the game, my wife went into labor with our 1st kid. Our hospital was 4 blocks from the stadium. Well, we lost to the Gophers 34-23, not to mention I didn't have the stones to go, but everyone was texting me on our disappointment on the loss, many if not all are Badger fans who give me crap every chance they get, but I didn't care if we won or not as I knew the birth of my first kid was WAY MORE IMPORTANT than a college football GAME. Our son was born later that night and I forgot that the Huskers even played. I agree with you 100%. Go Big Red.

Our oline is the biggest problem. Our center shouldn't be our center. He's small non athletic and can't snap the football. Cotton is a good kid but not a top tier olineman in a oline league. Lewis is decent, but I don't trust a Buffalo. Thurstan and Knevel were both highly recruited, why have they gotten no looks? Givens has the ability to be solid along with Reeves, in my thoughts. There is 4 decently big linemen. Throw in Tanner Farmer, and we may have a wall. just my thought.

I agree with Stumpy. Frost eventually will be a good head coach, but Helfrich was and, I still believe, he has the final say of which plays go to Mariota to call in the huddle. Frost is more of an eye in the sky. And reports what was/wasn't there on the previous play. A 2-3 year run at "non-power 5" conf would go a long way for Frost. Huskers need a proven head coach to step in IF we pull the trigger. That's a big IF tho.

Bielema will be a thorn in the Huskers' side again. When Ferentz quits, resigns, fired, Bielema will right there to swoop in. He is filling his gigantic ego right now proving he can coach in the SEC. I'd say with in 5 years or so he will add to his Hawkeye tattoo.

Has anyone noticed our lack of tackling ability in our LBs and 2ndary? I've noticed this for 3-4 years now. They are football players not hockey players checking guys into the boards. Mitchell Cooper Davie never wrap up. Makes me sick to watch.

Give Armstrong some credit tho. He may be the best QB in the country for a game of 500. Throw it high. Throw it deep. Call out a point total and give it a heave. My 8 year old nephew, Badger fan, even said "uncle, your quatrerback is icky."

They play 9 in the box. We have 1 limited rb and a bad decision making qb in the backfield. They can focus on our simple run game. Whatever happened to our diamond formation? Did Heard have a patent on that formation and take it to Kentucky? When things don't work, gotta try different looks. Beck is an idiot.

Beck "developed" Reesing at Ku. Brought that system to town with him. From what I read is that Stanton resembles that exact style QB. Hope Beck is gone, but try Stanton in this system and see what he can do. I wouldn't pick Turnover Tommy for my backyard neighborhood football game.
