    Going on another cruise, taking the kids this time and we're going to drive. The questions is......do I avoid Atlanta all together and go through Nashville and Birmingham to get to Miami or drive right through Atlanta and say, "Hold my beer and watch this!?"

      Looks like you're aware of the bridge situation in Atlanta. Avoid that area as much as possible. Traffic is rerouted and will be pretty grim.

      I would also factor in what time you are planning on hitting Atlanta? If its at a off peak time then I am guessing the slow down will be minimal.

      Quickly looking at a map, it looks like the bridge being down mostly effects traffic from the NE. 285 going around downtown should be ok, maybe a bit more traffic. Or you could bypass 285 at Marietta and join back on at College Park. :shrug:
