    Trying not to puke going to sleep tonight. A kid (no age released yet) stepped in front of a car on West O St tonight after the game and was killed. They had to bring a firetruck out to hose the street down. Life isn't fair. Life is too short. So many more important things than politics, than football, than... everything. Sigh

      The other thing is, half of the people who voted wanted him, and the half that didn't don't seem to want to acknowledge that. We've obviously got some major issues in this country when a guy with no political experience comes in and takes the White House.

      While I understand what you're saying, I just think it's premature to immediately go to a "sky is falling" type of mentality. In the past few days he's had several meetings and it appears good things are coming out of those meetings.

      I agree with JJ here, if he starts trying to push through legislation that is shocking stuff then that might be the time to start panicking some.

      Words are different than action. I'm going to pay attention his actions. I read an article the other day about this election. There was a phrase that stuck out to me. "He said it........she did it!" I think there was A LOT of folks that found themselves saying, "I have no choice, but to vote for Trump. Really? Hillary?!"

      Concerns are one thing, assumptions on what's going to happen are quite another. A lot of folks assume bad things are going to happen, so rather than watch and see until they are proven right they're jumping to conclusions.

    The fact that universities are offering grief counseling to students about the election results is beyond weird. Good lord.

      I agree that folks need to get some thicker skin with the results and deal with it. I realize they're mad, but time to adult and do the move on thing.
