  1. Not trying to start anything, but Tommy is a known white pants guy. Tommy is out today. Just an observation.
  2. he hasnt been healthy. I prefer to see healthy players on the field if the injury involves the lower body. Football players need speed. Maybe a DL can play with a cast on his hand, but a LB needs speed. We all prefer healthy players, but we literally have no one else to play LB. Is Ferguson hurt? isnt he redshirting? Forgot about ferguson. He's been playing ST. But a true reshman Mike or 2 true freshman LBs would be a recipe for disaster IMO. Maybe if Ferguson went through spring ball like young
  3. He has to be Bo's cousin or something

  5. This play? https://vine.co/v/eYO9mQi3IvE Found in the Creativity in the Run Game thread http://www.huskerboard.com/index.php?/topic/77085-creativity-in-the-run-game/page-3
  6. Tommy will come back this year and he will be the starter for Game 1 next year.
  7. Here was my in depth post expounding on my question. Hopefully this doesn't offend you.
  8. I laughed. I know this is way out of date. Im just getting throught this thread. This comment here is exactly why ive been cranky lately. Uneducated, researchless, assuming comments like this. Ummm... Thanks?
  9. Not an injury, but Cockrell out due to a family funeral
  10. You mean 2012 All B1G First Team QB Taylor Martinez?
  11. Upward trend! But 4-8 would definitely qualify as historically bad. It would be the worst season since 1958. 57 years. Out of 126 Husker football seasons all time, 4-8 would rank as #116 by winning percentage. 8 losses would be the 2nd most losses ever recorded by a Husker team in 126 years. If he happens to lose out and go 3-9? That would tie for the most losses EVER recorded by a Husker football team. Don't lie. You are hoping that happens, correct?
  12. If Minnesota retains Clays for next year I would guess hardly anyone jumps ship as it will basically be the same staff. If they go outside and get someone new, then the poaching will begin.
  13. Despite Bo's fiery nature, his teams came out flat a lot.
  14. Seeing some things that lead me to believe Tommy didn't practice again yesterday and is very much in doubt for Saturday.
  15. The only system I could see him excelling in is a system that either very rarely requires him to pass or a system where he is a wildcat QB. I like Tommy. He is a gamer. I'm not trying to bag on him, but Tommy is basically the same QB we saw last year. A different system isn't going to stop his questionable decision making (see the NW pick 6).
  16. Anybody know if Tommy practiced Wednesday? Doesn't look like there was any media availability after practice tonight.
  17. Do you have a gif of this play? A still picture doesn't tell the whole story. This picture looks to me like he is looking back to hear the QB or see if he is motioning. Linemen do that all the time. https://vine.co/v/eYO9mQi3IvE LG pulls and gets handed his lunch. Everyone on the D knows he's the pulling man because he is a half yard behind everyone else. Gotta get his ass on the LOS to help keep the play disguised. You run plays like you practice them. Edit: https://vine.co/v/eYe79VEqzdQ Here is another example. whole point is that you can't telegraph the fact your the pulling blocker. If the starter doesn't execute it, pull them for someone else. Still a coaching decision. Those 2 plays make Lowry out to be Reggie White. On #1, that should never happen to a pulling guard. NEVER! Utter should have some speed built up, but he gets knocked on his ass by Lowry. On #2, Sterup gets pancaked by Lowry. Wow. good god those are bad
  18. For which you have absolutely nothing but your wild ass guess to base that off of. Don't you know Eichorst just came here to sabotage the Nebraska football program, thus making it easier for Wisconsin to control the West when he takes over for Alvarez in a couple years?
  19. I wouldn't be surprised if we got up to 30. I can easily see 8-10 guys leave at the end of the season (by either their choice or coaches encouragement).
