  1. I am pissed about the kids and think it's time to evaluate the staff. However... Scott can't catch a touchdown pass that goes through a guys hands. Scott can't make Allen or others hold on to the ball. I'm torn. The game plan was good. The play calling was decent. The players are obviously capable.... But the intangible stuff has to ultimately fall on the coaches. Frustrating
  2. Seriously. We understand your point of view. STFU
  3. We have talent. Quite a bit really but for whatever reason it isn't resulting in wins. There are some empty seats but our stadium is still mostly full and the game day experience is great. I hope that doesn't go away anytime soon. The team is disappointing right now but better times are ahead one way or the other.
  4. Rare backs aren't as rare when you have great Oline play.
  5. Sure would. I just gave 2 tickets to a couple that can never afford to go to games. I couldn't use the tickets so I'm really hoping they have a great experience.
  6. I hate comparisons with that goofy dude and/or the Michigan team in general. They and he are not the goal. They have won some games this year but anyone watching us play them this year for the first 58 minutes of the game could easily say we were the better team. If our staff can figure out the weird mistakes, I believe we have a higher ceiling. I don't see Michigan getting over the Ohio State hump under their current strategy.
  7. Guessing he will have a scripted play or two. Maybe even just as a decoy. I do agree, shouldn't have him out there for a ton of meaningful snaps but think he should get a chance or two to get cleats on the field.
  8. I like those guys but getting Fidone some snaps is pretty critical imo. He was the #2 TE in the country and he will expect to see the field asap. Give him some love to keep him as far away from the portal as possible.
  9. To get to a yearly win average of 7, Nebraska would have to average 9 wins over the next 6 years. I'm guessing most in the fan base would take that as long as we have a season or two better here and there.
  10. With another year, our green O Line will probably look just fine. We actually look pretty solid on both lines next year.
  11. The game still has a story line so guessing it will be on a short list if Nebraska wins tomorrow. ESPN would like to kick the Covid dead horse/Nebraska "whining" story a bit more and make Ohio State out to be the savior. I honestly hope they don't come.
  12. Would having one solid recruit change anything? Let's be honest, that doesn't mean anything right now to this season. If they turn it around, plenty of good recruits will be available. If they don't, it probably doesn't matter. By the way, the number 2 TE recruit in the country from last year will be on the field for Nebraska tomorrow. Think he will change how we do the rest of the year?
  13. We have actually had good drives to start the game in 4 of our last 6. The plays were there vs Minnesota, Adrian just missed his receivers. I think, especially given the of week to prepare, we will start fast against Purdue.
  14. I would agree. Definitely not trolling but that dead horse is receiving one hell of a beating this bye week. If we don't get to 6 wins, I'll offer a few kicks of my own.
  15. So you are in the exact same place a lot of us are.
  16. So really you are on option #2 but voted #1 because you don't think it will happen?
  17. I would agree. There really have been 2-3 people pushing the majority of the negative stuff over the past 10 days. This poll shows what I thought was the case- most still want to see Frost succeed here.
  18. I know, there have been a lot but it's been either one or the other. I am curious to see really where people stand. Plenty are complaining but I believe the reality is most would want the staff back for another year if we can finish strong.
  19. I get the impression a lot of people have made up their mind already. I personally think Scott & staff should be given another year if they can finish the season strong.
  20. Pelini's sideline antics and abuse of the officials created a lasting anti-Nebraska bias that still exists today with officials and conference leaders.
  21. That is a pretty good point. Many people call for coordinator/position coach changes but in reality we would likely be getting unproven guys who are just looking for their big opportunity. I actually think the O Line will be pretty good next year IF we don't lose key guys to the portal. Most people only looking surface deep will say Austin really did a good job. Would it be deserving?? Idk
  22. I know a couple of the guys in the room - nobody anyone here would care about. They don't offer much info but occasionally I hear things. I will say they want to get to a bowl game pretty bad.
