Well said. Alabama makes the SEC look much better than it is annually. God forbid their top teams play a true non conference road game against a ranked opponent. Doesn't happen much.

I don't think that the B1G is truly about NC's. They act as if $, prestige, and "doing things the right way" are the most important things. They don't want to "roll in the mud with they pigs" (SEC). If the did worry about NC's in FB they would balance the cross overs and go back to 8 game schedules. The old division also was much better. To do nothing means it is not important. We have not had our conference champ in for 3 years.

It would be nice to win one against Kentucky. Seems like we have lost most.

I was being a little "tongue in cheek" with the comment. I guess I am looking at an average year. OSU had a non-con loss last year. The problem this year was also OSU didn't take care of business. They did nothing to deserve to go. Got smacked by Purdue, Maryland, should have beat them. We could have beat them. Minnesota had the lead , PSU had the lead late, Indiana was close at half. OSU was looked unfocused in most of their games. I am talking in a normal year. The formula should be: Play no true non-con road games, play 8 conference games with balanced crossovers, and play a FCS game late. Formula works nicely for the $EC. If we want in, we need to play by the rules that the teams that get in do.

This is Nebraska's fault. If we smack down the West teams and play in Indy, either we go, or a team beating us will go. We need to do our part to make the B1G better. That is why they brought us in. The people in charge of Nebraska have let us down. Let's hope we now have the people in place to make this happen!

The B1G could certainly help itself. Balance out cross-over games (this didn't hurt OSU this year) Go back to 8 conference games and stop scheduling home and home games with Power-5 teams. The B1G keeps doing the right thing. Maybe it's time to do the we want to get a team in the playoff thing. Again, this didn't hurt OSU this year. OSU's problem was a really bad loss and inconsistent play. Husker could have beat them, Maryland should have beat them. Distractions became too much. They were better early season sans Michigan with Urban out. They have the talent to boat race most of the B1G.

I think Coach Frost wants bigger locker rooms. The current situation does not house the entire team. I think they also want the "freshmen" locker room closer.

I have an account friend that has always told me that college tuition shoots up about the same rate as the guaranteed student loan do. They increase the amount to borrow, the tuitions also increase. I have also been told that about 100-500 colleges won't make it to 2030. Decrease in the number of students.

Now that we have worked through this, I prefer trash talking to whining. This is the first time I have seen the winners whine. It must be the Iowa way.

Great post, I agree with all posted. I am a teacher in a private school. There probably needs to be a different thread. This is a real problem that many outside of the "factory" need to know about the real story.
