The prediction was we would get a 5-7 bowl game. Then Illinois would be our eighth game, so we wouldn't play them twice in the next seven. Then who would we play in a bowl? Thought it would be awesome if we got paired with them for a rematch similar to 2010 with Washington. It wasn't drunk or high just really unlikely, but still possible.

We will not play Illinois twice over the next seven games. We will play Colorado twice though.

I agree. 2-1 seems realistic. 3-0 would be ecstatic though. I think i'll end up being optimistic no matter what though lol.

A lot of people aren't happy with the outcome and I agree that I'm not. Tomorrow, we'll have a great practice and a lot of people will say "he always says that". This is the wrong attitude. Of course a win would have been better. Obviously. But, we need to compare ourselves to where we were yesterday, not where another team is today. We're improving, we're getting there and there will be a bunch of heartbreaks along the way. I believe in this staff and I believe we will become Nebraska again. GBR.

Ohio State actually takes more beatings than you think. Urban just doesn't talk about them..

Seeing a thread titled Mo Washington scared the crap out of me for a second.

I don't think we should consider firing any coach for at least a couple years. It's crazy to think about how many different coaches some of these guys have played under. These kids need some consistency. That kind of thing weighs on the players.

Vegas understands that you learn more in a loss than a win, so the accrued knowledge that Nebraska now has easily outweighs everyone else.

Same here. I've felt they're overrated all season up until they just beat Penn State. I'll probably change my mind and think that we'll win that week though.

Obviously a disappointing first half to the season, but I think our luck will pick up in the second half. How wins do you guys see?
