  1. I'm showing high of 44 and rain in the AM, drifting to light showers in PM.
  2. I don't know any Husker fans who are sad right now. If Frosty couldn't get us out of the slump, no one could (because after another failure this job wouldn't be very desirable anymore). Luckily, this ship has already turned.
  3. Those weather forecasts change every 15 minutes... I expect updates accordingly.
  4. Iowa is not better at slowing down the run than Michigan State. It will be easier to run on Iowa, and if Spielman can play things will open up both running and throwing. I expect Iowa to score more also however. Game plan was fine, that is an extremely well coached D. Team got it done. Tip your hat and move on to Iowa.
  5. They are so well coached defensively, it is usually a good formula. They have had a slew of O line injuries and sunshine back there can't hit the ocean from the beach. Until they get some playmakers on O, try to bully is all they can do.
  6. They are already 10 AM games where I live! I think we need afternoon, and ideally night games for recruiting and to have the best atmosphere in the stadium for the team. Memorial stadium shines at night. People don't go 100% nuts at 10 AM Moiraine!!! C'mon! I bet you like 430 dinners at Country Kitchen too huh???
  7. I'm with ya on this one. I compare it to folks who try and film/post things to social media while exciting things are happening. Put the phone down and take it in. I love rehashing after, but always try to experience the moment. NU 45 - MSU 24. They can't stop mobile qb.
  8. Remember all those folks super upset about Riley taking a $50k salary to stick it to NU? Yeah...
  9. I like your idea of moving kids with athleticism around to find good spots. He might be a good fit at LB, like how the coaches saw potential for Jurgens at C. They didn't just stick with what he had done in the past. Need all the athletes we can get on D.
  10. No substitute for game action. The schedule this year was rough and it has worked out well for experience, even (maybe especially) the losses. These kids will be certain to hate losing the rest of their careers.
  11. Hop cat in the railyard. If you like craft type beer like I do, I live near Longmont and enjoy all the CO breweries, go there. I had a vanilla bean ale that was phenomenal at hop cat a couple weeks ago.
  12. 2018 - @Ohio State 2017 - Wisconsin 2015 - Northwestern 2014 - Miami, Purdue 2013 - Northwestern 2012 - Michigan 2011 - Michigan State 2009 - Oklahoma, Kansas State 2008 - San Jose State, Baylor, Western Michigan 2007 - @Missouri, USC, Kansas State, Oklahoma State, Texas A&M, Ball State, Nevada, Iowa State 2006 - Auburn (Cotton Bowl), Oklahoma (Big XII Championship), Kansas, Nicholls State, Colorado, Troy, Texas, Louisiana Tech, Missouri 2005 - Iowa State, Kansas State, Maine, Wake Forest, Texas Tech, Oklahoma, Pittsburgh 2004 - Southern Mississippi, Baylor, Colorado, Missouri, Kansas, Western Illinois 2003 - Iowa State, Oklahoma State, Penn State, Utah State, Kansas State, Troy State, Texas A&M 1996 - Colorado 1993 - North Texas 37-14 record for games I have been to in person, including 0-4 away from Lincoln. Bonus - Indiana @ Iowa 2007. Hoosiers with a 38-20 win to spoil homecoming of the bird parts. My best man's father plays in the alumni band every year so I went with them once to witness.
  13. What did ole Scotty do to get the boot?
  14. I thought with a throwback leather looking helmet it would have been perfect. Like these Washington ones.
  15. Haha! Internally I really think these are 2 W's, and if we win the turnover battle I see a couple 2-3 td wins. A koolaid volcano would erupt for the offseason then. I was just trying out pragmatism with the 50/50 talk...I didn't like it. Haha, thanks for the assist! I will have to try scrolling before posting.
