If you are predictable at rushing the passer on 3 and 5, wouldn't the offense just dump off a little screen pass? Especially if they were fast. During the BC years teams made a living with the screen.

I never understood that one. I guess these coaches get their buddies early and hang on. That was part of the problem with Solich-hanging on to guys that were past their prime and just didn't have the energy anymore. Of course he did the hard thing and let his buddies go- well you know the rest of the story. Of course Bo has Barney. I don't know if they go further back then 2003 but when I heard that Bo was bringing him aboard I had the same reaction as when I heard BC was bringing Cosgrove.

I think this could be a great hire because he is going to use the existing staff. If he lets the OC do his thing, and Tubberville does his thing and resurrects a defense(something they've never had)- I predict they will become a thorn in the sides of the major big 12 teams. I think that is what we are going to gravitate toward running, especially with TO as an AD. I think he may influence the future offense more then anyone will ever know. He has stated(in one of his books I think) that running is a better statistical option because the outcome will be one of two things: a gain or no gain. A pass can result in one of three outcomes, and two of them are bad. Of course you could always fumble, and I don't remember what he said about that. I think a predominately run oriented offense pairs well with a dominate defense, because it would slow down the game some and put the time of possesion back into our court-as long as we can get a few first downs. Isn't this traditional Nebraska ball? Isn't this also what is labled Beemer Ball(using the VT topic). THis is where the play of the line becomes as important, if not more important, then the QB. And this why I don't think Barney Cotton is going to the right guy for our offense- Watson either.

Look at a medical supply store for a good breast pump. You can buy used and just replace the tubing and valves for a lot less. A bad breast pump(like one from Walmart) is not worth a penny. I think the good brand is, o heck I can't remember but it starts with a M and it runs around $200 (look on amazon) You can research car seats on consumerreports.org It's worth the $25.00 annual membership. You can also find reviews on diapers, playpens, etc.
