Running is not going well. Mostly because I'm not a runner, and because running is the devil. But I've got a 5K route planned for this evening, and while I'll probably die doing it, I'm going to do it.

Will you be satisfied with Frost if we go 6-6 regular season this year? How many wins is acceptable?

Yes, I'd be elated to win 6 games next year, especially with the schedule. It won't surprise me if we go 7-5. 8-4 would be stellar! The next year I'll be disappointed if we go 7-5. I'll want at least an 8-4 record the following season. 6-6 for the first year with an attitude change and playing hard in each game ... I think that is the right direction for the program in year one.

Nebraska is going to have the fastest Offense in the BIG next year. I don't think it will be close either. They became elite in terms of speed on O within 2 months. Incredible.

Weird to have such a good class IMHO and not snuff the Top 100 with any player. Even if we got Hiles we would have missed out on a Top 100. Crazy. Glad stars are not everything. Still sobering. Thankful to have Frosty and this coaching staff to create a team out of these players. -
Our recruiting right now kind of confuses me. Our spot to prospect ratio seems way off. It could just be we're making sure we don't get left high and dry, but I have no clue who we're going to take and who is left out.

@knapplc, I don't feel ripped on at all with the responses. But ya, I'm not ditching anything we've accomplished in these few short days of recruiting. It's miraculous. Which is all the more sobering ... because I'm grateful for what his staff has accomplished ... and yet, it feels like we lost ground to OSU ... even this year. We probably should lose ground this year with the coaching change ... but dang, OSU has had an amazing recruiting year.

To @jaws , @teachercd and others. No rip at all to Frost. I wanted Frosty three years ago. When we got him I said I thought his recruiting class would be around #19 in the country. He has more then delivered on his recruiting. The guy lost like 7- 4* guys and via recruiting day and night has put together an amazing class.
And yet, how sobering ... after all that ... you look at OSU and their class and wonder just what in the hell one has to do to gain ground. Geez, have you looked at just OSU's DL class? They have like four of the best 5 kids in the whole country. It almost doesn't seem fair.
No rip to Frosty at all. Nothing but respect for his effort. He has been amazing. I do believe that Frost & Co. will outcoach Urban as well.Go Big Red!

I need help coming up with a six-character specialized Husker plate. I tried 'Frosty', Fro5ty', and 'Fro57y', but they're all taken.

..I’m not hearing much about what/who needs to be upgraded in every way before ANY tangible success happens..and that’s linemen, both sides...this years Group is by far the weakest physically, mentally and absolutely unathletic...can run a single run play with a pulling lineman cause they are so overweight and slow that they can’t get to the edge..I never understood why pack 35-45 pounds of straight up fat on these O linemen..I would think a fit, strong and agile 270-280 lbs man would be far better..
