  1. Agree. Too much East-West and not enough North-South.
  2. The line didn’t miss wide open receivers, one of which for a sure TD. Miss badly on a shovel pass. Make poor decisions on when to tuck it a run. Look I would agree that the line has underperformed all season and sometimes been flat out bad like at MN. But yesterday AM had chances to make plays and many times he didn’t. A better quarterback would have made those plays. We don’t have to agree on this.
  3. The line wasn’t the problem yesterday. AM was. Props to him for owning it too.
  4. You would stick with him at the expense of the rest of the team, the fans and the entire program?
  5. Vedral would have likely gotten us a W yesterday. Vedral's performance in the MN game was way better than what AM showed us yesterday. Not even close. We lost to IN and got blasted by MN for many reasons, none of which were the quarterbacks play. There's something going on between the ears of AM this year that's adversely affecting his play. That much is obvious.
  6. Other than JoJo, who legitimately is a "good" tackler on the starting defense? I can't think of anyone.
  7. 1. Apparently Rahmir is not to be trusted running the ball. I'm baffled by his lack of use. 2. Our ILBs still fail to hit their gaps, get off blocks, tackle in space, cover a slow tight end, wrap up a tackle without being drug 5 yds down the field,.................SMH. 3. Our TE's continue to not be a factor on offense. 4. Only half the secondary can tackle and that might be overstating it. 5. We are possibly the worst blitzing team I've ever seen. We run right into a lineman and stick to him like flypaper. 6. AM should have taken a redshirt year 7. We don't capitalize on other teams mistakes. 8. Scott's our guy but this is going to be a longer process that everyone thought and he may have to end up changing some coaches before it's all back on track.
  8. Exactly. Anyone who thinks we're OK right now needs to lay off the koolaid. Iowa is OK. And Iowa's OK is going to whip us again, I fear.
  9. Was going to pick threads, but then this giant add took over the screen. Changed my mind.
  10. If Martinez hits a wide open Noa his play calls look better. Some calls were questionable, but the players clearly can’t execute with any consistency.
  11. It sounds like there may be different versions of the same rumor. Or different rumors altogether. In any case. What I heard is not appropriate to discuss. And it may not even be true so there’s that. Sorry to those who are in the dark. I get the frustration. I’ll just say what I heard is nothing to worry about.
  12. What I heard could be described along these lines as well. More of a "Whoa, OK. Now I see...."
  13. Exactly, If it wasn't for unfair officiating, we would have totally blown out tOSU.
  14. Nobody’s going anywhere and at this point they shouldn’t. I get that this is a message board and this makes for fun talking between games, but let’s enjoy the process of watching the coaches figure this out. I believe they will. Oh and if you know of anyone putting signs in yards or any other shenanigans towards the staff, do us all a favor and give em a good kick in the nuts.
  15. Props to you for not posting it. I heard probably the same one as you. If true, it sure can explain some things. I'll leave it at that. Probably will be out eventually.
  16. Seems fair to me that if after next season, we haven’t seen defensive improvement, the needle points more to a coaching problem.
  17. The fact is that we are not a good defensive team now. That’s pretty much indisputable. Whether that’s a talent issue, culture issue or a coaching issue, who the heck knows. Probably some combination of all three. I just think it would be wise to give the younger players at least 3 seasons with the same coaches and system before we can properly evaluate this.
  18. Moos won’t do this. He has stated multiple times he thinks it’s important to let his coaches coach.
  19. High school recruiting rankings are not necessarily an accurate gauge for assessing properly developed “talent” especially when it comes to college upperclassmen. Also you should factor in that some of our seniors have had multiple coaches and coordinators. It’s not necessarily their fault they are not playing at a high level. Let’s give our younger players 3 years with the same coaches and see what happens.
  20. Still shouldn’t respect them. They got lucky. What they’re doing is neither impressive nor sustainable for a crap program. Who cares what IU’s whinny a$$ AD says.
