I still don't justify expecting to see more than we see now, especially given that we don't know the full staff makeup yet, and no matter who it is they're walking into an unstable program. I can't even wrap my mind around a true expectation for next year. Lots of hope, of course.. as always.

That’s a negative feeling, and I have it too. It seems to have creeped in over this past season, quite gradually. The Forde Sports Illustrated piece about how the AD here and others in decision making roles have basically given up on the football program by keeping Scott Frost would be the last stop as to where my thinking would go; I’m not quite there, but I see it on the horizon.

The powers that be had leverage. The violation thing a while back as not fulfilling his contract, probably. No 25 mil buyout in the “negotiations.” So, the losses pissed off the wrong people. Immediate release of several coaches speaks volumes.
