  1. You can also screenshot your screen and upload it somewhere like imgur as an option
  2. You're the one reading into it, not me. You could be right about what he actually meant, I don't have an opinion. Point is, he didn't say it, you just inferred it. Sorry I don't play fast and loose with my own interpretations of what people mean and then claim that it's actually what they said.
  3. If retaining Frost this season ends the sellout streak, then so be it. It's been egregiously artificially propped up more than a couple of times the last few years, and it's gotten to the point of being embarrassing as a point of pride because it's now hollow.
  4. Your whole asinine premise has been based on Obama saying it out loud. But he hasn't. So which is it? You really can't make up your mind what argument you want to try and make.
  5. When asked a pointed question and offered as a contrast that leaves so much room for intrepretation. Again, the claim here under dispute is if "Obama said he wanted higher gas prices", exactly what you said. He didn't say that. One step further, your initial claim is that it's part of the dem playbook - ie, that the Dems are actively trying to make it happen. Obama's comments are answers to questions about the state of what is already happening, and certainly are not said at all in a context of being something he's working to do.
  6. Nobody has made most of those claims. You certainly didn't hurt my feelings, and if you aren't criticizing others for comparing the two, then you're just being overly defensive of Casey. The only claim made before your "oh this is what we're going to do to a guy with a new team and going to ireland" bit was that Casey has struggled with the long ball. Then you launched into a diatribe listing all of Casey's strengths compared to all of Adrian's weaknesses.
  7. I would like to submit the following exhibits, if it pleases the court, to show Ameer doing all of the things you've just praised Grant for (links are timestamped):
  8. @knapplc you're still thinking too small. Instead of virtual reality coaches, I propose Twitch Plays Nebraska Football Our entire fanbase can coach in aggregate by setting up a livestream and using button macros to have tens of thousands of people hive mind making all the decisions together.
  9. No, but neither is this: That's your interpretation of what he said. That's not what he actually said. But here is:
  10. Mostly agree, although overall Casey's placement of throws in general leaves a lot to be desired so far. Even many of his crossing routes/curls/outs are not put in a great spot - mostly close enough so far but a lot of adjustments on the parts of the receivers. But his long ball is definitely suspect, and his Texas tape showed that. I remember distinctly thinking so watching the youtube video of all of his Texas passes. admo you do realize you're criticizing people comparing them, but you also just compared the two? As far as your comparisons, there's some factors at play besides the skills of the two in a vacuum. One of them being Casey is playing in Whipple's offense, which has a much larger focus on quick drop backs/routes/passes, compared to Adrian playing in Frost's that has much more long developing plays.
  11. lol so if we had been in the big ten for 50 years, it would imbue the program with some magic 'familiarity' power that a coach would become our coach and immediately figure out how to play in the climate and culture?
  12. Your initial assertion was that we NEED someone with past experience having success in the B1G Ohio State didn't seem to think past experience having success in the B1G was important when they hired Meyer. Michigan didn't seem to think past experience having success in the B1G was important when they hired Harbaugh. Michigan State didn't seem to think past experience having success in the B1G was important when they hired Mel Tucker. Penn State didn't seem to think past experience having success in the B1G was important when they hired Franklin. Minnesota didn't seem to think past experience having success in the B1G was important when they hired Fleck, or Kill before him. Those all seem to be working out pretty good. So again, what actual data are you basing your opinion on that a successful B1G guy is the only person who can succeed.
  13. Past head coaching success is not a marker for future success. Past experience in a conference is also not a predictor of future success in that conference.
  14. The reality (that fans have an impossible time coming to terms with) is that most of what goes into building successful programs might as well be magic, because it's almost never quantifiable or replicable. Outside of very, very rare exceptions, you can do your absolute best and put forth every resource, but even then it's still pretty much a crapshoot. Why?
  15. Half the top 10 coaches are not leaving their positions. The other half are still gambles.
  16. At war with a villain, you can't call a truce You put down your weapon but now he's got two A liar's a liar, take him at his word Forever rebelling against the absurd Desperate Pleasures - Every Time I Die
  17. The absolute disrespect to multiple NFL players between 1997 and now after two games against Northwestern and North Dakota Your takes are great entertainment
  18. There's no actual evidence Scott took over playcalling. It's just a typical antsy fanbase finding things to be antsy about. People see the quarterback run twice and us run the football more against an outmanned FCS team and turn it into a mountain of controversy
  19. Mark Dantonio had three years experience as a head coach going 18-17 at Cincinnati before being hired by MSU, who is in the top 70% of the conference. PJ Fleck was head coach at nothing Western Michigan before getting hired James Franklin only had three years experience at lowly Vanderbilt before getting hired at near-blue-blood PSU Jim Tressel had never even coached in the FBS and had a 3 win season in year 10 at Youngstown State before he went to OSU Paul Chryst only had three years experience going .500 at Pitt Bret Bielema had zero years head coaching experience So sorry but what the f#&% are you talking about? Every head coaching hire except for like 5 people is a huge gamble. Even with experience it's still a huge gamble (Rich Rod at Michigan says hello)
  20. Osborne never ran a true triple option. Every time we handed it to the fullback was a designed call, not a read.
  21. Don't let @The Scarlet Pimpernelsee this. We need a SPLASH hire that has a NAME that everybody knows so we can get the CROOTS!
  22. The problem is that those weren't borderline. Targeting is either leading with the crown of the helmet, or forcible contact to the head/neck area of a defenseless player. A receiver in the air is defenseless, as is a quarterback in a throwing motion. Both players got hit with forcible contact to their heads.
