Zach is going to be just fine this year. I would like to see T-mart and Green on 2nd/3rd and short with some decent play calling instead of a dive up the middle.

Burkhead isnt the issue, and the depth chart is ok with me. But Lester Ward runs different like J MCknight....once he gets some game you will see it too. Not saying anything about the two ahead or behind him...just saying the guy needs to get more snaps and the rest of you will come along. As for Martin, he took 2 & 3 guys on special teams leaving two guys like Thanarse, free...opposing coaches must have watched the film from game 1....Martin is a player, his explaination for removing the helmet is logical if it happened as he said, so be it, more of a natural reaction to a immediate crisis, than anything else... See how VT lines up on him, they have excellent spl teams and understand him as effective or ineffective....great coaches scheme the talent and find the weakness. Martin must have been percieved as a real threat to double or triple team him. Other players should see that as thier opportunity and give Martin an assist. Ward might be the 2nd coming of Leon Jackson but not Joe Mcknight. Martin is a stud, no doubt.

Yep, I agree. It all looks easy on paper. Our front 4 is going to be the key. Those backs get to the 2nd level and we are in trouble with our young LB crew. We have been very vanilla on defense so far and for good reason. Taylor's arm is good enough to keep us honest but not much more then that. We get them in 3rd and long and there are many things we can do on defense. If we dont blitz, we do need to have a QB spy. Doesnt take Taylor long to pick up 10 yards with his feet. We really need to be careful with the football and win it late IMO.

This stuff is to funny. Last week people were calling for us to start Green by mid season, now Lee going to rip V-Tech a new a-hole. Why do I even read this stuff? Get the running game going early against V-tech and take the crowd out of the game. Take some pressure off Lee. If we cant do that, then we are done. Of course if we cant stop the run, then none of this matters anyhow. 31-23 Tech.

Lee may be quick, but saying hes one of the most athletic players on the whole team regardless of position is stretching it. I've seen the spring testing numbers. Its NOT a stretch at all.

Yes he is. I didn't expect him to play much, but he showed why it's going to be tough to keep him on the sidelines this year. I really liked how once he hit the hole, he lowered his head and gave out the hits instead of dancing around and losing ground. Why not? Burkhead is #2 and the coaches dont want Roy's touches over 20 a game.

Mike Moudy is supposed to be coming also from what I read this am. As far as a possible commit, Harvey Jackson has basically said he wants to commit to NU and wants to do it soon.
