  1. You said strangling someone was never excusable unless your life was in danger. I posted evidence to the contrary, even the law makes exceptions.
  2. Not even the law agrees with you. https://scholarlycommons.law.emory.edu/elj/vol62/iss1/3/
  3. Mob mentality is real, read more at the link. https://www.webmd.com/mental-health/what-is-a-mob-mentality Interestingly enough, cancel culture is real as well. https://www.psychologytoday.com/us/blog/the-science-behind-behavior/202007/what-is-cancel-culture
  4. I remember that event. The dad beat the perp to death with his bare hands. I have no doubt that if I happened upon that same situation (one of my daughters being sexually abused) that I would have done no different. Edit: I found the story in question. https://www.foxnews.com/us/texas-father-kills-man-trying-to-sexually-assault-daughter-police-say
  5. It could be the mother in law, but then you'd have to add incest charges no?
  6. I'm pretty sure that's not what he's doing.
  7. I saw a psychologist for 3 years and I'm happy to say that I graduated. You are not wrong about the lawyer part, I'm saving, slowly, and I might die before I get enough saved but at least I'll die trying.
  8. Simply getting arrested doesn't equate to guilt. If you fired somone that got arrested and then later proven innocent you'd likely get sued for wrongful termination. Which is why I think Mickey is suspended right now and not fired. I'm not going to go into depth on this but I'd have domestic violence charges on me if it wasn't for one specific audio recording I have. I can't tell you how glad I am to have that recording.
  9. I don't think anyone is doing that. If you think I implied it, then for the record I'll state that was not my intent.
  10. It won't if we can all act like adults. I believe you can discuss things without arguing. What's the difference you ask? During an argument folks tend to get angry, yell, and say things they later regret, they might even get a thread locked or moved to the woodshed. A discussion happens when everyone involved has opportunities to voice opinions/facts and learn.
  11. The problem with men reporting is that police don't generally believe us w/o convincing evidence. We are somehow at fault regardless of circumstances, or a sissy that lets himself get beat up by a woman. I bought a nanny cam (bluetooth speaker with built in camera and mic) to record our interactions but she figured out it was a nanny cam and broke the damn thing. I watched her come up to the camera and violently shake it until it stopped recording.
  12. How will this affect Rhule when Mickey isn't even on his staff?
  13. I had a torn labrum in my right shoulder that has since been surgically repaired. (They also repaired a torn rotator cuff and "cleaned things up a bit". Whatever that last bit meant.) I'm surprised he was able to play and throw because the more you use a torn up shoulder like that, the more it hurts.
  14. Well... I guess you can join me over here in the "no longer a fan" corner.
  15. Not any more I don't because I'll never be able to live down the shame of what happened today. Goodbye cruel Husker world!!
  16. Mr. Joseph was handed the keys to a hot mess and did his best to straighten it out. And he did, to a certain degree. Each week I saw improvement in the team on the field. Tackling got a little better each week, penalties became fewer and fewer (an indication players were becoming more disciplined) and players began playing with fire in their hearts again culminating with beating Iowa. Thank you Mr Joseph for being a leader to these young men and giving all of us fans hope again.
  17. Were you born without a sense of humor? Or did you have yours surgically removed? Either way, I've put you on my Christmas list and I'm going to Amazon after this to see if I can find a sense of humor for you. If I find something I'll PM you for shipping details.
  18. When we finally have good lines again, both offensive and defensive, we'll start winning games again, but not until then. We have other issues as well, but it all starts in the trenches. You can't let opposing quarterbacks have all day to throw and you can't let yours get hit/hurried/sacked all day, that's a recipe for the disaster we've been seeing for years now.
  19. How often have you seen a new head coach at any school in any sport be named before the current season is over?
  20. You need a good offensive line before you can run the ball effectively and we haven't had a good offensive line in a number of years now. Hopefully that changes with the new coaching staff.
