What would make you think Darlington should be a polished QB? He hasn't practiced the position since the spring. He worked out at TE all summer and fall. I can't believe some talk about players that way.

With his history of head injuries, Darlington should never be in the QB discussion.

If Darlington's risk of another concussion is that serious, he should never be on the field. Period. The fact they use him as a holder tells me it must not be that serious of a risk. Having said that, if he isn't better than a blown hammy TA or broken wrist Fyfe, even without practicing the position, he must not be very good and this staff has screwed the pooch by not having a viable 3rd option ready.
