I'll raise you....45-14 NU You guys should be pretty confident coming into this game. But not quite that confident. I think all of you will be surprised at how athletic yet physical we are. We CERTAINLY don't look like a CUSA out there. Anyone of you ever heard of Jamie Collins? I agree. Southern Miss is a team with a lot of athletes. You never quite know what your getting with a new coach so this should be an entertaining game. And Jamie Collins is a beast on the DL. I expect him to have a big year and get drafted pretty high.

Do not panic. It is not a sign of another w****out. The Nebraska equipment team has many strange athletic equipment in their offices.

Why is it so ignorant to think advanced life elsewhere in the universe would be looking for other lifeforms when the only intelligent lifeforms we know (we, the humans) are doing that very thing. We spend billions of dollars on space exploration. Why would it seem ignorant to think of other lifeforms are doing the same. And there is nothing more interesting than life itself. I'm sure if they are out there that's what they are mainly looking for. Another thing to point out is many scientists are now saying that with all the new info they are getting the possibilities of life evolving on other planets is much greater than they had thought in the past. Ok this post is for all the old farts who are complaining about the jersey. Grow up! Mentally! The only reason you guys don't like them is because "They aren't traditional like the ones I saw us where when we were kicking butt." We have to evolve. We have been passed up because we have been caught up on this "traditional" way of thinking. Since when did staying the same ever help anyone? Why do you think we were so good in the 90's? Was it because we lifted weights like every other program or was it because we put in an effort to change how we do things in order to be different then the teams we beat up on. Our athletic department needs more changes like this to even be competitive nowadays. Instead of always trying to stay the same which has gotten us nowhere lets make a change for the better.

I'm curious to hear everyone's side. Maybe you have a story or have seen a video that you would like to share. I personally believe that our government doesn't want us to know about them. I think they have done a great job thus far in not letting word get out. I have my own story of the sighting I witnessed a couple years ago near the Missouri/Iowa border.

So I didn't have to watch this guys double chin bounce around any longer.

What is he supposed to say? "Yeah, I think, no, I know we are going to get killed. My O-line sucks! I'm going to get hit probably like 30 times and its going to hurt really bad...have a band-aid ready for me, will ya?" How will you be able to hear in Memorial Stadium? "We won't, it's too loud." Will you be able to run the ball? "We suck at running the ball. Our O-line sucks, remember I told you that earlier. We won't be able to pass bc Im gonna get hit and I don't like getting hit hard and we can't run the ball bc Nebraska has the greatest defense in the world!" Give me a break people, it was a confident interview, not cocky. He was giving praise to his teammates saying he has all the confidence in the world in them. What's wrong with that? We would love it if one of our players gave an interview like this when everyone was expecting us to lose. Just like the RB said, why even show up if we don't think we can win. And he was right about Memorial Stadium, it isn't that loud.

I thought Turner played an alright game considering he has never played receiver before. It was hard for him to get open when he's lined up in the slot and the defense can't blitz and was dropping seven into coverage. The middle of the field was not open the whole night so the quarterbacks were mainly targeting the outside receivers.

I've mentioned the Tigers' trophy in '08 several times, but there's a lot of hysteria to overcome. The sad thing is, if you strip away the hysteria here, there's still plenty of factual issues to levy against the Big XII. They get overlooked too often, though. So it goes. It is just crazy people fuel to the fire. I know we are on the same page on this. This conference is far from perfect and has been for a while. The officials were bad year round for all teams. Ne benifited from some non calls and suffered from others that should not be called on them or from others not being called. But that is not just a Ne issue. There are a number of games this year that have been as bad. Ne/ATM might have been the worst...but it is not by itself and you are not the only team. The leadership in the big 12 has been poor and the in-fighting continues to get worse..... it is what it is... as you said knappy, "so it goes..." Shut up and listen to this podcast by Matt Davidson. Matt Davidson On This Issue We already have enough of our own fans whining we don't need anymore. friend, i am not whining. just pointing out that i think its silly that people are making a big deal of it. AndhHow i dont understand (although the same thing happened to my team, and others i would imagine) And i could care less to listen to matt play his sad violin on KC radio agian. For someone who hoped the topic wouldnt get brought up he sure spend 20+ minutes going on and on about it. Not to be rude but I could really care less for this. IMO I think it looks bad on behalf of Nebraska and it is really the opposite of what Nebraska fans are known for. Believe me I hate Texas just as much as you do but you look just as bad as the jealous Iowa State fans wearing Nebraska sucks shirts.

Yeah, but Mizzou has even more offensive talent. And probably better special teams too. Not sure of either teams' defense. SDSU over MU would be a pretty big upset - the line has MU favored by 14. If Mizzou doesn't win by at least two touchdowns, I'll be truly amazed. Never mis-underestimate Gary Pinkel's ability to coach his way out of a win! Eh, SDSU is my playstation team so I semi follow them. Still lookin for that upset! That's funny that you say that because I have also been using sdsu on ncaa for as long as I can remember.
