Anyone know about how long Purdy will be out after his surgery?

I learned fans have absolutely no idea how clock management works. I also learned not turning over the ball is not sufficient to win. Beating a few bad B1G West teams gave the impression we were ahead in the transition, but the reality is this is a multiple year program transformation. Everyone complaining about the coaches conveniently leaves out all the injuries this year. Years two and three are when we'll learn if the rebuild is working.

Yep, this is about as light a penalty as possible that still seems like the conference did something and allows the conference to stop investigating. I said it before, if these are the consequences, then every school needs to hire a team to steal signals.

My ballot in Colorado did not have party affiliations on it a couple weeks ago. I think the ballots in prior years also didn't have party affiliation, but I can't remember for sure.

I'm saying there's no evidence of selective enforcement. There's been no enforcement at all up to this point, let alone it being selective. I don't have any issue with the questions you're asking, I just don't agree with the conclusions you're suggesting.

Are you arguing that there should be no enforcement of the rules since there is cheating going on? Even when someone gets caught cheating?

If you choose to cheat, then you also choose to suffer the consequences of you're caught. That's not unfair. Others cheating but not getting caught is also not unfair. Enforcement making an example out of one is also not unfair. If you think any of that is unfair, then don't cheat. What would be unfair is if enforcement caught multiple cheaters but only one suffered consequences, which isn't what is happening in this case since only Michigan has been caught.

Getting caught for cheating and suffering the consequences is not unfair no matter how widespread it is. It would only be unfair if multiple teams were caught for cheating and all of them did not suffer the consequences.

Michigan is clearly in deep s#!t and is now going to try the old SWAC approach of ratting out everyone else. SMU got the death penalty back then - Michigan probably going to get off a whole lot easier.
