  1. They definitely ran it up on us. I wonder how many times we have beaten them by 30+ though. All I can say is....if you don't like them running it up.....then trying f'ing stopping them
  2. I think it was actually on Big Red Wrap Up.....They interviewed him. It will be on net1 thursday evening if you want to see the interview.
  3. I like the sounds of this, although I would be highly in favor of having the Linebacking core as follows: WILL - Culbert MIKE - Dillard SAM - Octavien/Brandenburgh I would also like to see Latravis Washington and the cracker backer get some time as well. Otherwise we are starting next year with pretty much ALL brand new linebackers. Thenarse and Asante should be the safeties from now on and the next 2 years. Potter has been easily our best player on D in my opinion. I know the D-Line has stunk it up, but at least he plays with energy and makes plays from behind once the D Line gets burned. SUH has been good as well, but I just dont feel like he is trying as hard as he should be every play.
  4. So, do you think that was Helu's "audition" so to speak this past weekend? FINALLY Major is back on defense. I would love to see him at the WILL linebacker, but safety is where he will be. On Unsportsmanlike Conduct they said that McKeon is going to be playing some back-up WILL now that Dillard is finally getting some time.
  5. Thenarse can definitely get it done. He is just exciting...that is something we lack on defense.
  6. I think all of you guys are crazy. Lucky is definitely our best back. Glenn is about as unreliable as anyone i have ever seen, and don't try to tell me castille or helu is ready to be an every down back. The coaches are running almost everything through him. You guys are crazy.
  7. This guy would definitely be my #1 choice. Wonder if he'd leave the ACC.
  8. I don't for any second think that RUUD won us this game. He made 1 big play. I watched the game, and I think our coaches put him in coverage wayy too often. There were a couple of times today he did a great job, but its no secret that he is not athletic enough to be guarding TEs and RBs man to man I think he is right that we need to play more zone
  9. Aquinas is 5-A. That is the second largest classification in Kansas. They are by no means playing bad competition.
  10. I hate Cosgrove for a couple of reasons. To him, NOTHING is EVER his fault. He completely throws the players under the bus. Our defense got absolutely obliterated the last 2 weeks, and it is soooo embarrassing. All he can ever say is "its not a matter of changing the way we are doing things and schemes, its a matter of executing" -- take some damn responsibility, if they aren't executing right, whose fault is that? Who is the coach that is supposed to have them prepared? I refuse to believe our defensive personnell is as bad as we have appeared these last 2 weeks. We should, AT WORST, be 4th in total defense in the big 12, and we certainly don't look like that. He is ridiculously stubborn, refuses to admit when he makes a mistake, blames the players for not executing, and he ALWAYS makes it appear as if he is doing everying absolutely perfect and its other people that are Fing up. Bottom line, he is the coach of the defnese and the defense has been completely miserable ever since he got here. I could handle his mediocrity a little better if he owned up to anything he does. A BAD COACH........WHO THROWS HIS PLAYERS UNDER THE BUS not what I want to represent Nebraska
  11. sounds like he was in town over the weekend, and is now reconsidering his pledge to Iowa
  12. It will be pretty embarrassing if they play the same tunnel walk as the first home game. That was HORRIBLE!
  13. I went to the game, but I would like to see the telecast. Does anyone know if the game will be replayed in omaha?? either on some of the local channels or on espnU?
  14. I think grixby is probably our best corner as of this moment. He is certainly our best corner against the run.
  15. Is there anyone looking to get rid of some Nevada tickets last minute?
  16. haha....you parked all the way over by Allen Fieldhouse? I went to KU and for anyone that goes to the game, i STRONGLY recommend parking on the streets around the stadium. Sometimes you have to pay like 5 dollars but people let you park on the lawns and in their alleys. Normally there is no problem getting a cheap ticket outside of the stadium. However, KU will have a good record when we play them this year because their schedule is cake. If you look at it, I would not be surprised if they are 7-1 when we play them (which would mean beating KSUcks and Baylor). Cheap tickets at game time will be a difficult find this year.
  17. EVERYONE hates their coaches at one time or another....especially during two-a-days and this part of the season. I mean, they are practicing all day, going to meetings all day....they have no lives right now. I would completely understand them hating some of the coaches right now. The bottom line is that it is these coaches responsibilities to do what is right for these kids. The only time I foresee a problem would be if a coach was treating a player in a fashion that made the player feel as if he were unable to live up to his potential BECAUSE of the coach. If the coach has players best interests at heart, and the player still complains....he is just a pu&&y
  18. Bottom Line..... we had the ball, down by 7 in the 4th quarter in the COLISEUM!!! UNBEATABLE???? give me a freaking break that is a joke No question they are the best team by far. But by no means unbeatable.
  19. AR could not be more right. I listened to the radio show, and Kevin kept reiterating that he thinks Keller is the man we can't lose. Michael thought Carl Nicks was that man. While I appreciate both of these opinions.... 1. All reports from practice say that Zach Lee is our most mobile quarterback, and has the strongest arm as well. Ganz knows the offense like the backside of his hand.....and we all know Witt looks like he is going to be a stud. While I am praying daily that we do NOT lost Keller....we would survive. 2. Its no secret that the most important position on the OLine is LT. Especially with a stationary QB like Keller. I don't think that Michael is too far off on this one, but again....all reports from practices say that we are very deep on the Oline and I think someone like DJ Jones could step in here. He may not be as good as Nicks, but he is a very big man with a huge upside. Again, we could SURVIVE without him. Suh is ABSOLUTELY irreplaceable. Sure, our D line seems to be deeper than we all thought...but NO ONE can plug up the middle like Suh. Having him allows our D Ends to face 1 linemen basically every single play. 5 Linemen (not counting TE) and 4 pass rushers. Suh will command the respect of 2 linemen every play. Leaving only 1 for each of the other D Linemen. I am not counting the TE because there will always be a Linebacker or Safety responsible for the TE.
  20. They showed a couple of highlights on sportscenter last night of AC. They were even giving him a little love.
  21. O - I would like to have back tracy wistrom. We NEED a tight end. D - We could make it a family thing and bring back Grant too -- But id rather go with one of the Peters or Farley
  22. Definitely Josh Williams. Other possibilities - TE Gimm, and the michigan duo....but Ill go with Josh Williams.
  23. The whole defense just feels so much more explosive to me than it has for a long time. It seems like we are finally playing some athletes.
  24. Talib is the real deal guys. This guy is tall and very athletic. They put him in on offense last year and threw him 1 pass.....HE SCORED! he is very very good.
