    How hard is it to install tile for a kitchen? Needing to put a new floor in the kitchen, trying to save $$

      Just make sure your floor is level enough for tile first of all. My parents can't have tile for this reason.

      You can always level a floor out. Just takes money and time. Planers aren't cheap, and are difficult for the average person to operate. Hopefully this would have to be done in mathew_m_g's case. The sandpaper for these deals aren't very cheap either.
