Today is his birthday. He would’ve been 51 this year. Forever Red!

What might have been. Brook was rumored to be Denver's top choice in the coming draft. So sad but also so encouraging. A young man whom left a legacy that will go on for years more. Rest In Peace Brook and on a side note, can you please speak to someone there above to help Rhule and company out please?

Has anyone heard who will or will not be back for Husker baseball next year? I’m afraid we’re going to lose Gabe Swenson and I think Josh Caron may take a peek at the pros?

If you have Amazon Prime, Take a look at the Husker documentary Day by Day the Dynasty. Fabulous in depth look at the teams from 95/96/97. Wow! The main focus was on what Tom Osborne did with those three teams. So worth a rental!

RIP Randy Meisner (Born in Scottsbluffs)

Randy and my dad were good friends growing up in Scottsbluff. They even became neighbors after HS, before Randy moved out to LA and when Randy came back from LA, he stayed with my parents before moving back out to LA. They remained friends throughout the years and my Dad is pretty heartbroken with Randy's passing.

Sad to hear of the death of former Husker Cole Pensick
“Mourning the loss of one of our own.
On behalf of the Nebraska Football program, our deepest condolences go out to the family, friends & teammates of former Husker lineman, Cole Pensick, who passed away yesterday at the age of 32.”
He was in a car accident. So sad.

Anyone else watching the Bills/Bengals game? A Bills player (Hamlin) tackled a Bengal player, popped back up and then BAM Hamlin drops to the ground. They have temporarily suspended the game. They did CPR on him for like 9 minutes. I’m thinking this poor guy either had an aneurysm of a heart attack. Praying for this kid. He’s 24.

Hope Hamlin pulls through...
Crazy how different things are these days. I remember having to go back and play the rest of a high school game while our friend was taken off the field in an ambulance unconscious with a TBI. Tears in our eyes every play not knowing if he was dead or alive literally sobbing and gasping/blubbering for air. He made it through after surgery, and a lengthy coma.
