  1. still funny, believe me, old people use the internet for the strangest things!
  2. IMO, there is no chance we see Rex in the wildcat this year. Especially if Taylor is healthy and the passing game is more effective than last years. kind of think the RexCat was a last ditch effort when the O was struggling, I "HOPE" things are on the upside on the offensive side of the ball do they only pull the RexCat out of the back pocket for fun!
  3. Good pics HJ, driving on I29 the other day you really get a good sense of how high the river is by looking at the Riverboat Casino, you used to have to walk down the ramp, now it is a nice uphill climb to get to the boat.
  4. If anyone has questions on sump pumps let me know, just check them often to make sure they are doing their job. Also just be aware that even if you have sump pits in your basement it is possible the hydrostatic pressure will force water up cracks in the floor or near the foundation before being drained to the pit as I found out last summer with the big rains we had here. The only good thing about this whole mess is that we got plenty of time to prepare for this disaster heading our way.
  5. The midol reference was not cool, disagree with her fine, but leave comments like that out, there is no reason for it.
  6. Oh man, it was the worst thing ever cuz she would always yak it back up Tried everything my vet told me to do to stop that habit which was told was common to Boston's (would have been nice to know beforehand) Finally after being at wits end I just happened to need dog food and grabbed Pedigree and it has worked ever since.
  7. The guy is a great athlete, he has stumbled along the way but he is fun to watch. There will never be another Jordan as there will never be another Kobe, Lebron etc... The game has changed and will continue to change with the players coming and going. One thing you rarely see now in the NBA is guys playing past their mid 30's and starting. It has become a young mans game.
  8. Science Diet is expensive and of course the only food recommended by my Vet. After a year and a half of my Boston eating her own poop I switched to Pedigree and problem is gone if that answers your question?
  9. Let me first say that this is will be a flood that will affect us for years to come, it is truly a scary situation. Should be good down in Sloan, we are just to expect higher than normal ground water, which is what we see every year in the summer The only thing to do is hope for the best and expect the worst. This will be a long hard summer for everyone that lives along the river. To SSC guys- I did hear today that they do not expect the flooding to reach past the bypass on the west side of town, but NW corner of town is in bad shape. We were sandbagging our equipment in the Wynstone area today and have never seen anything like the scene that is in the Dunes area right now.
  10. its too bad really, losing a guy with game experience does hurt, but for Cody's sake it was probably better off he did go somewhere else to see if he could succeed, he has had a tough go at it, but he has kept his head up and I applaud his efforts at NU. Good luck Cody!
  11. Wow! Didn't see that one coming. Ohio St is becoming the new USC! Except looks like Tressel should have bolted for the NFL!
  12. everyone is poor in college, it is the privilege of being a scholarship athlete that you don't have to spend the rest of your life paying for your education like most do. I'd say getting a degree and being debt free would be worth it's weight in gold.
  13. The offense can have as many formations and play-makers it wants, the O-Line still needs to produce to make this a dangerous team. Hopefully something will "turn on" for this group this fall to be a scary foundation for whatever offense we run in the Big 10.
  14. Don't feel too bad, Dallas is playing championship caliber ball right now. OKC is fun to watch but Dallas will be to much for anyone in the end if they keep it up.
  15. Not my business so I don't care, they put on their uniform like everyone else, they will get cheered.
  16. Incognito had issues sure, but I would have him back, we need more mean hogs in the trenches that flat out dominate people.
  17. I see his angle of the possibility of the drastic change in the College Football world, but he takes things on the wee bit of the tragic side of change.
  18. no need to change anything for Wisconsin, they know who is coming to their house. No need for fans to change identity... The only problem I see is our QB hitting the guy with the "N" on the helmet. That will be confusing since the helmet are identical.
  19. Stewart Mandel has a funny take on if/when playoffs ever happen in College Football. My link EDIT: it's on Page 2 of his mailbag.
  20. Apparently BRI forget to tell us about his B-Day party! HAPPY B-DAY MAN!
