The only problem here is, the few games he's played this year, he's broke off monster runs on his first couple carries. I could see him starting, and going to just a few carries, and then breaking off about a 70 yarder on his first carry and getting hurt again

The NFL has had problems with this in the past as well, until there are cameras mounted exactly on the goal line on both sides of the field that give a true view of the plane, there will be a margin of error due to the angle of the camera to the field. I know not all stadiums are the same, but what would it take to mount 4 cameras at the goal lines that would help in these instances? Money, blocking the view of some fans?

I found it amusing when Taylor started simulating the clap to catch the defense from watching and getting a jump on the snap count.

I think on that play they were complaining that the play clock hadn't been reset

Couldn't agree more, it's like the producers of the game have a camera on him the entire game, and every opportunity they think he'll blow a gasket, they automatically switch to the camera hoping to see a train wreck.

Not to mention the play calling by Beck, can't decide which improvement I'm more impressed by, Martinez or Beck. Offense looked pretty darn good for the first game out of the chutes, with our bell-cow only playing 1 series.

The Ohio State game has me worried. Very worried. We had a lot of luck that enabled us to win that game last year. I think Ohio State is going to want some payback and the game is in Columbus. Wisconsin does not scare me at all. New QB and the game is in Lincoln. This will be our payback game. If our offense and defense even make modest strides, we could have a huge season barring injuries at key positions. I'd like to feel that way as well, but Texas a few years ago was supposed to be our "payback" game. The hype of the game, and the new uni's, I hope we fare better this year unlike that game.

I don't think this was Snyder's doing, this schedule was set up when Prince was there. No way Snyder would ever choose to have a schedule this tough!

We'll see who wins that pissing match, the SEC will NOT be happy with that. Of course, if someone transfers out to another school, it'll still probably vacate their scholly, but having 4 year scholarships should make it harder for the SEC to oversign.
