there might not many thoughts on a postive season this year, but i do see something that really bothered me in the past with bo. THERE ARE NO BLOWOUTS SO FAR....that is a big success story this year, at least in my book

he still is not listed on rivals or scout...so it must be a done deal yet

most of your top 5 ranked college teams will be loaded with 4 and 5 star guys....so it does make a difference

i have a feeling nu may not get any more recruits....the current coaching staff has not had much time to establish relationships with the recruits

in regards to the new england roster,,i believe 13 did not even come from division 1 schools

don,t get your hopes to high, only 8 out of 100 new coaches turn out great

i did not start up my crystal ball today....riley has to be given 4 years to make a judgement call, but i think he might stop some of the blowouts we have experiecnced....is he the next osborn, i doubt it....

it will 3 or 4 yrs until we riley,s recurits playing, so nu fans will have to be patient with the new coach...nu has trouble getting big name coaches, i am thinking they believe its hard to recruit for the progam in such an isolated area of the country........but who knows, maybe riley can turn it around, time will tell

nu gave up a bunch of yards, and no running game..nu cannot run against the better teams, not sure why . one critical moment for nu was that 4th down play, armstrong tried to force that pass into a crowd.

i don,t see bo,s staff getting a lot of offers....cotton may end up somewhere i suspect

Oregon State offensive line coach Mike Cavanaugh is joining Mike Riley's staff at Nebraska.....this was on twitter from the cavanaugh camp....i suspect riley will prettoy much clean house and bring his buddies....he has some long time relationships with them...i never like many on bo,s staff,,,not experienced enough for college ranks in my book, but i am not a football guru either

i like mark stoops from kentucky....has done well since taking over the program

i am wondering if mark stoops from kentucky might be on top of the list.....he recruits well, and has been in the big 10 as assisstant at iowa....also, he has doubled kentuckys wins since being there......

one thing bo did not do well is be calm under pressure, but many coaches are like that...you cannot really blame bo, he tried...you got to blame the university, not hiring a proven winning coach. it may be harder to get a winnning coach to come here, not sure

the blown out scores that this team experiences each year is hard to take, and one of the big reasons bo is gone...another note, if it was not for the florida atlantics, and nebraska play some tougher teams like west virginia, etec, they would come to close to a loosing records maybe....i have talked to people across the country, and everyone says nebraska is not anygood anymore...that is the national view of this team..bo has not really improved this team,, and if one is happy with 4 loses a yr, and a blow out or 2 every year,,,should have kept bo i quess....but those that are happy with that, must not know that nu was once a power house...maybe they will not be anymore, who knows....osborn did not really hire anyone he has touched that came close to what he did, and unproven all of them..i just hope a proven coach comes here, and with a completely new staff

nebraska is a joke....i have talked to people in michigan, they don,t recognize nu as a power anymore....they just say, they are not good anymore...i am not sure if nu can be like osborn teams again, is does not look good for the future of this program

agree.....the bottom line with bo, is that you are going to get the blow outs every yr with him...if you don,t like that, ,,,hes got to go.

nebraska got beat today bad, and i just broke out in a laugh..i thought it was too good to take nu seriously, it happens every year under bo. i am not sure if the teams are just that bad talent wise, or the coaching, but its same thing year after year...nu still could get beat yet before the year is done, minnesota is dangerous. ...i don,t dislike bo, i just think we need new blood in the system..,...7 years, and i don,t think we ever finished close to the top 10....
