if that is great.....northern illinois, louisville, all ranked ahead of nu....embarrassing.......nu is not doing something right,,,,,either its the assisstant coaches, the head coach...but nu does not get much respect anymore.

think about it.....if you are the head coach, and makig a couple of million a year....would you be running to tom for help...the head coach should allready know how to coach at this level , period..........as for osborn,,,,,he was a good coach, but his choices afterwards for coaches i never liked.....none of them turned out great

more of the same,,,,at the beginning of 2012, i predicted the huskers will loose 4 games, i was right...the same next year.......they just don,t have enough different makers on this team,,and the georgia game contiuned to show the missling elements.

the assistant coaches, look at the defensive corrinator, he was an student assisstant not too long ago.....lots of rookies on the assisstant coaches staff

this game really means not much anymore since nu bolted from the big 12. when the 2 teams were playing each other in the same conferance, it was huge, but now its just maybe another potential loss for nu. its too bad the big 12 has ended the way it has, nebraska really belongs in the big 12 in my book....i don,t like the big 10, and never will, even with nu there. top it off with the divisional names, legends and leaders, i still don,t know who plays in these 2 divsions...how does legends and leaders pertain to football conferance divion names, they must of been drunk when they decided the names...no one likes it.

well, if you go to scout.com, nu is 21st on the top 25 list, with 6-4star guys on the list....and recruiting is not done till febr........not too bad in my book

well, i don,t think nu will loose every game the rest of the season, but will probably loose at least 2....but nu will have to show up to play...

most of the teams on the schedule could beat us;.;.....nu is going to have a bad year.

it would be nice if we could win out, but our defense is not the black shirts of old, and i am talking many years ago....for some reason, teams are able to exploit our weakness,s with wins...if nu played in missouri,s spot in the sec, i would hate to see nu,s record at the end of the seaons.....its time for a new coach, because i don,t like 7-5 seasons.....i would like to see mr pearlman go too...just a guy that cannot pick good coaches.

I saw bo, and he looks like a man who has lost his confidence in his abilities.....i would let bo go, hes had 5 yrs now, and its more of the same, unless you are satisfied with loosing 4 or 5 games a year. got to put some blame on nu,s president, pearlman if i got his name right,,,he does not hire the right people....for a school like nu,. we should be able to hire a head coach with some experience, instead of letting coaches coach here with absolutely no track record..

hmmm,,,,,why does it take so long...well, i would say nu has not had a good coach since osborn...look at bill synder of kansas state, takes 2 and 3 star guys, and in a couple years..they are great.....

he did so good at miami,,,,,just look at the football team ,,,they are doing great...more of the same at nu,,,,maybe even less for a expesive ad

hire kansas states head coach, hes better that what nu has had in some time..

4 or 5 loose seaons look real, could even be 6 if nu i unlucky....but i think a 4 lose season would not sit well,,,since there was no improvement over last year with many of the same guys as last years team...trouble with nu,,is recruiting...we cannot hire anyone that can get the better guys here....osborn had be lured to stay till 2014,,but he did want to do it...i think he sees troubles ahead, and decided to get our fast.

for some reason, our big guy at nu does not want to hire a coach with a great record...since osborn retired, the coaches nu has hired has no track record as a successful head coach at the d1 level...so some of the blames has to go to the big guy at nu,,,,mr p. i like bo, he,s got to feel miserable, but he trys hard...but the money he makes, i cannot feel to sorry.

I Too was hoping for a better year, is not happening, and i too predicted 3 or 4 looses with this team.....just don,t understand what the deal is,,,kansas state wins with 2 and 3 star players,,,nu cannot with 3 and 4 star....get rid of coach, and hire kansas state,s coach.

eichorst is doing very well at miami...the miami football team is just so good the last few year....nominate him to the hall of fame....i also agree with above thread, osborn has made some questionable choices in the past....when he hired frank solich, i was thinking for a school and football powerhouse like nu,,,this guy has no track record....then the slide of nu football began

i wish nebraska would hire the kansas state head coach, that guy does great with a buch of 2 and 3 star players

enjoy while you can...or just support kansas state........after next weeks loose, nu will not be anywhere to be found in the polls

maybe nu should join the big sky.............i wish nu would hire bill synder from kansas state,,,they have a better coaching staff, and biil is miles ahead of our present head coach

toms osborns recurting classes were not top 10 classes if i remember...seemed like he had lot of 15 or 16 ranked recruiting classes...tom gave a kid a chance, were other schools would not, got to give him credit for that, even though some of em turned out sour later in life... i just don,t understand why nu,s defense gives up some many yds....the defense basically lost the game for nu, not the offense.

nu did try to run the ball, with absolutely no success...that is why they passed allmost all the time...
