i was never in favor of coach penili being hired, i had allway wish nu would have hired the kansas state coach, synder(though he is getting old)...this guy takes a bunch or 2 and 3 stars, and makes them play above there ability, or he has a sense who to recruit....another thing i have not like in the past 2 or 3 yrs, the assisstants being hiredl......just too many with no track record......at the beginning of the season, i said 3 or 4 looses.....took some heat,,but i will stand by that..i liked ucla,s speed, and they looked very physical...looks like any team that is a passing team, ,,will have a tough time with ucla,,,,they get great penetration wiith the pass defense,,,impressive,,that was the story of the second half

i hated to see tyler leave, just wonder what the real reason was????

iowa states qb is better that cody green,, ,,,i think he passed for allmost 400yds...i was surprised to iowa state win this one, but it seems that the coach there now is doing well for iowa state...they only had one good year that i know off, and that is when they beat nebraska that year

i was not overly impressed with the defensive play, the offense did good. when you line up against some top ranked teams, is this defense going to stop them, i wonder...the offense was good, but too many 3rd down plays.....maybe i am being a bit to critical, time will tell,,,,,southern miss is usally a fairly decent team, so maybe the play of nu was better than my first impressions

i get a bit worried that freshman will get playing time...that means the uperclassmen are performing poorly....remember, these guys are 18, 19., playing against some guys maybe 5 yrs older

What's your definition of great?.................. something like the 1995 team.....the huskers just don,t have those type players on the team...i am rooting for the hukers too,,,but i just don,t see it....remember,,they lost 4 games last year with a lot of the same players back..

nu will not be a great team this year,,,just don,t have the studs needed...probably will not have in the future,, not able to recruit the better players or not getting the right ones.

after a yr in the big 10, the divsion names just suck... i just don,t see where the divison names fit, it more of a personal want i believe from someone in the committee that decided on this...maybe delany...i am allmost positive that the majority of fans don,t like the div names...is there anything we can do to try to get the names changed.

qb, and offensive players......we still don,t have a great qb..that can get things done,,,,,,,,overall this team is not like tom osborns teams, period

i have watched recruiting for awhile now, and i seem to see a pattern being devoloped....nu can get a few defensive players, but it seems tough to get offensive skilled players to come here. i am not sure what the deal is, maybe nu,s offensive recruiting staff not good recruiters or something eles....i hope nu can get some good silled people, qb is a postition them seem to be unable to grab a good one....the team starts around the qb, and nu cannot grab a good one..

many of iowa states florida recruits last year were 3 stars....just seems odd that nu cannot get guys from florida, maybe the 3rd biggest recruiting area in the country.........

one thing that puzzles me with nebraskas recruiting, is there unability to recruit florida. all the studs in florida, and nu gets very few, if hardly any at all......iowa state can recruit florida, they have got 17 recruits in the last 4 yrs...nu probably had got 2 or 3.

my thoughts are that after spring practice, he did not feel his chances were good at playing much....i wonder if maybe he was 3rd or 4 th the list....must be some underclassman jumped ahead of him i am wondering

man,,,seems like they could play it this week, maybe next saturday.......whats the big reason for not playing it at all?????

why are all the coaches leaving nu, something is not right there.....otherwise they would stay

i don,t like the football assistants...seems like a bunch of unexperienced folks.....

would have been nice to get peat,. i had suspecion that he was not a nu recruit , and i was correct....

not too sure about peat,,,,,,seems like if he wanted to play for nu, with his family memebers there, he would have commited by now

well,,,he has family that lives in los angeles.....probably was the deciding factor....

i remember last yr, a lot of recruits did not sign until signing day....looks the same this yr

i don,t think nu will have the best class in the big 10,,,looks like ohio state and michigan has gained that crown..but nu can distance it self from wisconsin if they get some of the guys they want...nu is a tad better class at the moment than wisc...if you go by the star system....the star system does not make any difference at kansas state, they are able to bring in great 3 star players that probably should have been 4..

well.....i think the fan dress is okay, but i don,t like the uniforms...it would help if the team wore white shoes.....but still don,t like the silly stripes, especially on the shoulder......whoever decided this must have flunked fashion class
