  1. Well they didn't watch the film. But, that's not where the problem is, that's just we see on the field. Bo doesn't do well with adversity, he seems like the type of guy that's smart but not witty it takes him a little while to come up with something after he has been slapped in the face and that's how his team plays. hey see something different and get slapped in the face and by the time they decide to make a change its too late the damage is to much to overcome.
  2. That's funny because when they tied it up I said to my wife its over. I have to agree that In Big Games when Bo loses his mind which he did a few times excessively one Bell pulled him away from the ref and with Davie I think Pap told him enough (I think I saw anyway). I am not sure what the answer is here. I would hate to fire Bo especially if we win one of the next two or both. I just don't think it will be good or easy to get a new coach unless he is found before hand. I think for sure Bo HAS to get rid of Beck(Which I think he is a good person and coach wrong personnel) and Pap I would like to see Bo hire a D coordinator and Bo coach the Lb's and Safeties, Then we will have to either get a O coordinator that can coach the QB or we will need to get rid of another assistant to find a QB coach. Things ARE better than they were with Clownahan but Saturday was horrible and a disgrace to our great University.
  3. The next best thing DPE back to return punts is if they try to kick away from him with a bad punter and shank a few.
  4. I agree with this. I am not sure if it's just them being stubborn or if it actually takes as longs as it does for our coaching staff to adjust when the game plan on either side of the ball goes awry. But, I think that one of those two things are keeping Bo's Huskers going from good to great IMO. I think we should have a pretty good idea what they are going to do and should be able to handle them. I think DONU by 10, but it could go the other way real easy. I think if we have to score 35 or more to win we are screwed. I am hoping I am wrong about the last part.
  5. I'm scared of Bando having the deer in the headlights look going on during the jet sweeps. Im worried about the deer in the headlights look during the snap and fumbling the ball. I am worried about their QB when Collins VV McMullen and RG4 have their with him. I am also worried about Zaire trying to kill whoever he is tackling(have to admit I loved seeing it finally after the Purdue game). He's playing fast and that makes me feel warm and fuzzy inside. I am worried that the coaches wont play the right Offensive linemen in this game and we get no push. I am also worried about an under 40% completion percentage. I think we win by ten!! GBR!!
  6. I kinda like the negativity towards Nebraska for this game. I hope our players are taking it to heart and bitch slap these punks! GBR!!!
  7. You know I bitched about Nelson being in the game before Newby until he ran for like 8 yards on first down running through tackles. I guess that kid is legit!!
  8. Well you don't know how nice that apartment was though. It could have been like the one the Rock had on the Game Plan! Of course I am sure there is a rich word for apartment that I wouldn't know about!!
  9. I wore a brace like this for the same injury as Rex Grade 2. It took me a while to get used to it on the court, (it was our last football game for the year when it happened). I also had a torn Meniscus, but the one I wore was from the mid 90's and was way more bulky and had metal showing that I had to tape up before games. It looked really cool . Anyway no matter what it will limit him some but I think as well that it will be more mental than anything especially with just a grade 1 tear. I think he is mentally tough enough to handle it, but is he mentally tough enough to put millions on the line twice? Is what I am more concerned with.
  10. We definitely need a receiver with his size. Definitely would help setting up the play action game that we are kinda lacking IMO.
  11. I know they are proud to be purple but that's just disturbing!?!?!?!
  12. I really hate that people think that the B1G is just the worst conference ever, and especially the fact that the west is so much worse than the east. Is the east better...yes this year and only because of two teams really. Minnie is no slouch and Wisky is a lot better than people give them credit for. Iowa well I thought they would be pretty good and would bet they will give us a heck of a match, but I really am more nervous about the Minnie game just because of how under the radar they are. And I really think we are up there with OSU and Mich St. Wisky started slow but so did OSU. By the end of the season if the same OSU team played Bama OSU would win. I think Wisky would beat LSU also. But, Oregon would still beat Mich St. The B1G is the B1G and they will beat the will out of you. Its funny because I haven't heard anyone bitch about how slow and methodical the Bama/ LSU game was.
  13. The only thing that really worries me is, that our D will get so consumed in Wisky's run game that we will forget about the TE or just the short pass playaction in general. It has been known to haunt us over and over again. Gordon will get some yards and he is a very good RB but I think our overall LB play has improved a lot and we are usually pretty damn stout up front. We just need to contain him and their QB, keep our eyes where they should be, and don't cheat.
  14. Regardless of who starts. We win or lose up front. It seems that Beck realizes the issues of "over analyzing". It now appears to have caught ip with the OL. I hope we see this pay of on Sat with our OL rotating and laying guys out. “It doesn’t matter what they do,” Price said. “It’s about what we do.” That appears to be the lesson learned after the offense’s up-and-down showing its last time out, a 35-14 win over Purdue just before the bye week. Forget that urge to create a plan to counter every possible alignment and adjustment of the opponent. Just play. “Not overthinking everything,” Price said. “Just because a guy’s lined up this way or his hand is down or this linebacker’s lined up over here, it doesn’t mean they’re always going to do what we saw on film. Sometimes it doesn’t matter what he does.” Sometimes it’s about reacting in the moment and relying on your instincts instead of trying to process and dissect every tactical detail. That is how Price and his teammates up front are hoping to play going forward, anyway. It’s a mentality that hasn’t always been evident for four quarters during the past month, perhaps the source of the unit’s inconsistency. http://www.omaha.com/huskers/nyatawa-nebraska-offensive-line-it-s-about-what-we-do/article_057fdbd1-8cd0-5e47-99a3-d826ab64c326.html Yes, that quote says ALOT imo. I just hope this is everyone's including the coaches mentality going forward. If it is I feel really confidant if we come out and try some stupid sh#t than well it will be another beat down that should have never happened.
  15. Now I am sure not all Wisconians are a holes. But, I know a guy from Wiscy (not saying friend well because he isn't just an acquaintance) and he has absolutely no respect for anyone. The guy lies, cheats, and steals and has no problem doing any of this anywhere. Had a beautiful wife that he cheated on well before he was married and obviously still was after since they are divorced. He was at a bachelor party once and stole a dildo from the stripper got his ass pounded by the body guard for doing other stupid sh#t. He was a charity function and stole a guys leather Husker coat. I could not figure out why he doesn't get his ass kicked more than he did but I guess most of his friends he bought and still does. Kinda crazy but whatever. The worse part is, is the fact he is a huge Nebraska fan and went to school in Lincoln. Just with my experience with this guy it is not hard for me to believe the stories told here about the people up there. Kinda sad I know, and probably shouldn't judge everyone based on him but I guess, if the shoe fits.
  16. Some people want to be leaders and some are just fine with being pawns. We are not pawns and we stayed longer than we should, but left when the right offer came calling.
  17. I think that if Ameer isn't full go or just takes half the normal snaps that Beck and Bo have study the film long enough on our side to know the game plan with the different backs cant be the same as they called against Purdue. I have complete confidence in Newby also running between the tackles as long as he builds on the "Prove myself" run he had when he scored from what about four out. It was impressive and now that he has the taste in his mouth I really think he will build on that. He just needs to learn patience when he needs to and just run when that's there also. That kid has a lot of talent that none of us have seen on the field yet. I still think our best chance to win is with AA in the backfield, but if he cant go then he cant and the next man up has to be confident.
  18. Texas is still Texas and still would have wanted control of it all. Its just going to take some time to get used to the teams of the B1G and not just the athletes on the field but the psyche in general. The B1G isn't about flash and glamour. They stay the course win with tough D and wear you down with the line strength on O. Every team plays hard and most of the time you don't see the blowouts you would in the Big 12 with a few exceptions, but as of late the overall speed seems to have changed for the better. I just cant figure the Michigan deal. Crazy how they can get the talent they do and be so bad, for the last few years anyway. We are just finally starting to get it I think, and I hope that the coaches can just coach with in themselves and the players instead of getting cute or over think it from here on out. The B1G isn't friendly to newcomers from a scheduling stand point as we found out and it hurt us pretty bad, but we are just as guilty thinking we were going to come in and just run circles around people. we just didn't have the strength up front which we found out the hard way a few times.
  19. I would be willing to bet that the 5* players that think they are a finished product and don't need additional coaching are the few that don't succeed and make it to the next level. They didn't become 5* athletes by being arrogant pricks that wont listen to their coaches. Any player even the best in the NFL needs to be coached whether it be to maximize their talents or learn to gel with every one else on the team. Saying that they don't is absolutely insane.
  20. I think the UofN has a bit of work to do. One thing that I found interesting is that he wants to be close to home. Where is home for him, Yes he moved when he was 4 but I am not so sure he was talking about Nebraska as home. Anyway he looks like one that we need to keep here. He has one hell of a frame at a young age that looks like he can add a lot without losing any athleticism.
  21. Man if it is a QB that we lose I hope it isn't Stanton. I really think he could be one hell of a QB at this level and for us, but if he doesn't get it than he doesn't. Just really had high hopes for that one.
  22. That'll help teach those kids how to fight through adversity....sheesh!!
  23. Kind of off-topic but I wish we could get rid of this and things like it in this forum. Rethuglicans, 0bama, etc. Generally speaking things are kept pretty civil in here and name calling does nothing for the discussion. Sorry dude but things are only civil on here if you are a demoncrap
  24. All of the Demos must still crying about why this would happen...you know cause you have to be stupid and senseless if you support the Republican party on this board.
  25. The only thing that scares me here is that the Republicans in office will f#*k it up with the young voters for the 2016 election, and we end up with yet another dumbocrap in office again!
