  1. The charges might not amount to much, legally, but at this point you have to at least consider Washington unreliable because his decisonmaking is suspect. We need to have somebody ready to step up as the new #1, at the start of the season or at any time Washington is here.
  2. @Mavric Makes me wonder what Minnesota might be able to do this season, with an easy schedule. Will boats be rowed?
  3. @Scarlet Overkill Or to put it another way, they're predicting that Solich will win a conference championship before Nebraska wins its first conference championship since Solich was coach.
  4. And the man at the back said everyone attack and it turned into a Big Red Blitz...
  5. Finished the second season of The Tick. Probably better than the first season overall, not so heavily focused on Arthur. Started off kinda slow, though, and didn't feel as high-stakes. Still feels like a show that's good, but hasn't quite reached its full potential. Amazon canceled it, so we'll probably never see where it could have went.
  6. @Enhance Yeah, here's the article about that: https://journalstar.com/sports/huskers/sipple/steven-m-sipple-nu-linebacker-barry-speaks-his-mind-and/article_6b8281bf-539a-5dd6-b357-40522a60ed0c.html And this article has a response from Sims down below: https://journalstar.com/sports/huskers/sipple/steven-m-sipple-with-mills-likely-in-fold-picking-nebraska/article_3a442ac0-d3fd-593c-a86e-5a474f443c65.html
  7. As opposed to being the next Jordan Stevenson.
  8. @suh_fan93 Interesting that they differ so much on Iowa and Purdue. One has Iowa #2 and Purdue #6 in the West, and the other has them the other way around.
  9. On a somewhat related note, I guess Hoiberg won't have to worry too much about the prior culture, given that he's replaced almost the entire roster.
  10. At least he's racking up lots of frequent flier miles!
  11. Last I heard, his future plans involved a whole lot of Coors Light.
  12. He's gonna be looking at Sparty like "I must break you."
  13. This has a pretty good list of free services out there right now: https://www.reviews.com/blog/free-streaming-services/ One that's not on that list is Xumo.
  14. So, another option for those wanting Nickelodeon (@Redux @RedDenver) and other Viacom stuff: Pluto TV, which was just bought by Viacom in March. And it's free! I just happened across it when playing around on my FireTV. http://pluto.tv/ https://www.digitaltrends.com/home-theater/what-is-pluto-tv/
  15. @Redux Just announced a couple weeks ago. https://www.theverge.com/2019/4/18/18412525/youtube-amazon-fire-tv-prime-video-chromecast-return-announcement
  16. For Nickelodeon, your options are Philo and DirectTV Now. Sling TV has options for the secondary Nick channels (Nick Jr, Nicktoons, and Teen Nick), but not the main Nickelodeon channel. Or just wait until the official app comes out for FireTV, probably a few months from now.
  17. Time for a thread split...
  18. Rutgers: Mediocre since before your favorite school was even founded. Edit: Actually, 1869 is the exact year the University of Nebraska was founded. https://nebraska.edu/history-mission.html
  19. Four years and losing his hotshot offensive coordinator.
  20. It took Solich five years to have a .500 season...
  21. Main difference this time around is that the NCAA wasn't involved, so they could let Meyer stick around for the rest of the season and make it look sorta vaguely like he left voluntarily...
  22. @Husker in WI What, you think Fickell inherited a bare cupboard or something? Ohio State went from 12-1 (Sweater Vest) to 6-7 (Fickell) to 12-0 (Meyer). Fickell probably would have went 6-6 with this year's players, too.
