    I actually feel bad for him. Like a pack of sharks circling a wounded whale; Riley knows what's going to happen, the reporters know what's going to happen and the fanbase knows what's about to happen. If we lose on Saturday, it's going to get extremely ugly, especially if Riley isn't fired right away.

    Hell of a finish to the USC-Texas game. Texas looks to have found their quarterback.

    Watching that round-fire from the reporters, you can tell. It's all over his face. One reporter even pointed out he doesn't do interviews after games or make comments during the season. Now, he's done two "press conferences" in the span of one week. It looks and feels like panic time.

    Riley really backed himself into a corner with those quotes. Can't overcome bad field position against Northern Illinois? Are you f ucking serious?! We never had a chance at coming back against Northern Illinois at home? Really? Jesus! He sounds way in over his head. Gee, ya think? You just now realize this?

    For the collective sanity of Husker nation, I hope we win tomorrow. I can't imagine what this place, or any Husker radio show, will be like if we lose.

    Instead of putting out a statement, I would much rather see Eichorst give a press conference and take questions from reporters. That way we could get a better idea of what is going on.

    Playing the day after Thanksgiving is something I have always looked forward to. My dad and I would eat leftovers while all the crazies would be out shopping. It's tradition; that's why eliminating it bothers me.

    I guess this means the administration is "all in" on Riley.

    I don't know what's funnier. The fact that Nebraska gave Riley an extension before the season started, or that they are planning to give him another in December.

    That's an interesting question: Would Husker fans be alright with a bunch of 8-4 or 9-3 seasons if it meant 5 or 6 years from now, winning the Big 10?

    I could always understand what Cy was saying. That always gave him an edge over Tuff, who till this day still confuses me.

    interesting that the university took the step of officially asking FOX to stop running that commercial...I understand not liking it and playing to the stereotype of Nebraska being nothing but a huge cornfield, but to officially ask FOX to stop playing it...
