I think with a lead they wanted to run the ball and the clock - and lost momentum after the first couple of series. Read they loaded up the box, so they had to adjust the play calling. Haven't heard that in 4 years.

I think they said ECU had 8 wins last year. Root for VTech, we can beat them and it will be better if they are undefeated going into the game. As I type this ECU is up by 5

I agree, I was just afraid to bring it up for fear the thread would degenerate into another "KU is teh best evar" vs. "KU is teh lose" thread. I think if you were to add in strength of schedule, KU's overall defensive rating could quite possible be way over-rated.

College Football season is the begining of a wonderful season of excitement and entertainment. My birthday is a day where I get a cake at work, have a nice steak for dinner, and get a few gift cards to compensate for the reminder that I am getting older by the day. I'll take the start of college football season over everything except the opening Thursday of the NCAA tournament, and the inauguration of whoever the next president is.

I don't mind MU being ranked real high up in polls. It gives the Huskers credibility when they DESTROY them!!!! (maybe , maybe not )
