    Not a fan. The last time a message board I loved changed its format. It died.

      That is not the case, ATB. This is basically an off the shelf message board software.

      As noted on the site footer, we run Invision's message board software. Support for versions 3.x.x, which we had been running for some time, ended a few months ago (at least?), which made a jump to 4.x.x, which was first released in 2015, inevitable. IPS is currently on 4.2.

       

      It doesn't "force" an upgrade, but it's a little like when Microsoft for example stopped supporting Windows XP with security patches. So we chose to upgrade, but it was long, long overdue.

      I was just curious, that's all. I don't remember seeing that footer on the old site, so that makes sense.
