I am not ready to throw him under the bus but HE has the responsibility along with whomever is coaching him to learn to throw the frickin ball away and quit taking 13 yard sacks. He also needs to learn that the thing he is carrying around is not a loaf of bread. After that he needs to work on being a team player and not T-whatever. As fans we need to call him by his name and quit making him sound like he is all that. He is a struggling QB right now that needs to get healthy both physically and mentaly. Not to be a debbie downer but we came close to losing to ISU again and SDSU was way to close for comfort. I agree that we had our chances but even if we had won all of our games we may not have been ahead of Auburn or Oregon at the end of the year. I would have liked to have that problem though. I hope the RED OUT BEAT TEXASS thing never rears its ugly head again. We are Nebraska and we should not act like one game is more important than another. This was the begining of the uneasy feelings that were felt the rest of the season. We as fans and I am sure to some extent to the players as well the texass game was a big deal and when we laid an egg it just started the ball rolling. Now I can live with close losses when we are competitive. We just need to get the offense up to the level our defense plays at. I dont pretend to know what that is going to take but I hope Bo has a plan for that side of the ball. We can still end up 11-3 which is an improvement from last year. We have new challenges next year and our future is still bright. The Huskers have a little over 2 weeks to get game ready and I bet Bo and his staff meet that challenge and we go into the off season with a better taste in our mouths. GBR GBR GBR
