@Redux I hate to break it to you but the bad hires have been two in a row, with Frost being an awful one. It’s obvious at this point. He doesn’t go to a bowl game he is done.

Bob Devaney, Tom Osborne, Frank Solich, Bo Pelini together have 48 winning seasons and 0 losing seasons Callahan, Riley, and Frost have 4 winning seasons and 8 losing seasons. (I’m including this season) Time to face facts, Frost isn’t like Osborne or Devaney. He’s the worst coach we’ve had in the last 60 years.

A top 5 battle no less. This is all the proof you need regarding how boring Iowa football is.

A chance to do or dare

If Nebraska does not go to a bowl game, he should be fired. How bad would it look if we KEEP a coach with 4 straight losing seasons? An entire recruiting cycle!?! I’ll tell you what it will look like. It will send a signal that Nebraska no longer cares about winning football games but instead cares about people’s feelings or the living in the past.

The buyout of a contract, regardless of the amount, will never be a reason to NOT move on at Nebraska. We can go ahead and stop mentioning that. If this thing goes off the rails it won’t be difficult to pull the plug, and $ of a buyout will not be even a consideration.
