    One of my heros Is former Cubbie legend Ron Santo. I cant imagine playing 162 games with diabetes. He must have been constantly nicked up, bruised , hurt. He played through it and didnt let anyone know what he was going through. He died last year and a part of my heart went with him. God bless you Cubbie. I miss you #10.

      I got to meet Ronnie out in Denver a while ago. Greatest half an hour ever. Yes he talked cubs baseball for a half an hour with a complete stranger

      Ron Santo is my all time favorite Cub. Nothing beat listenening to him call the Cubs games on WGN radio. He never failed to make me smile and crack me up. He epitomizes Cubs baseball in my opinion.
